Cardiff and Rugby

Image
Yesterday was an interesting day for me as it was my first time at a Six Nations rugby match and it was definitely a match I've always wanted to watch. It was Wales vs England which is always an interesting day in my family whenever these two teams play against each other. There's this whole rivalry between these two nations that is very interesting. For me I have two sides of the family where one supports Wales and the other supports England. Either way one side is going to be happy with the outcome. For me I'm sort of in two camps as I was born in England and for ten years it was my home. However, Wales is home for me and that's why I support them as I've lived there longer. Of course, I'm proud to have been born in England so I always say my nationality is British because I have both English and Welsh blood inside of me. However, when it comes to who I support whether it's rugby or football then I choose Wales everytime. Needless to say yesterday was hone

How To Feel Positive When You're Feeling Low

Image
Some days you just can't be bothered to do anything. It's not because you're lazy, it's because you lack the motivation to do it and that's okay. You're feeling low. It happens. Unfortunately, life goes on. As much as we want to curl up in a ball under the covers, we can't as we have work to do.  So, how do we make ourselves feel positive when we're feeling low? I have a few tips that might help you with that. 1. Listen to your favourite songs Music in my opinion always affects your mood and having a dedicated playlist filled with all your favourite songs is the perfect cure for you and really lifts your mood no matter how low you're feeling. Trust me, as I'm writing this post I'm listening to my favourite songs on my playlist and it just makes me want to sing along. When I listen to music, I sometimes imagine different scenarios in my head whether it's being on stage in front of an audience or in a huge concert arena. In a weird way it j

Happy Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! As someone who has spent 25 years single on Valentine's Day it's actually nice to have a Valentine for once. Sadly due to me having to work, I am unable to spend the day with him but tomorrow I get to spend the whole day with him which is very exciting.  This is your sign from me that there is hope out there. Believe me. I did not think this year I'd have a Valentine but sometimes life hits you unexpectedly and you may have to kiss a few frogs along the way but you'll get there in the end.  Whether you're happy in love or spending the day with your friends or just on your own, I hope you have a lovely day.  If you are single and alone on this day, I do have a blog post that can help you out: Dates You Can Do Alone These dates I've suggested can also be done in couples or with friends. Either way it's useful to anyone struggling to make plans this Valentine's Day.  Anyway, I hope you have a lovely day however you spend

Makeup Bag

Image
I thought I'd go with an oldie but a goodie is what's in my makeup bag post. I think it's been a while since I last did one of these and my makeup products have changed ever so slightly since then. This is my everyday, go to makeup bag with products I use on either a daily or weekly basis. I did a makeup collection post back in November 2022 which I will leave a link to at the bottom of this post if you're curious to see more of my makeup products. For now though, let's see what's in my makeup bag.  This makeup bag I've had a few years now and it's from Primark but this one I got in Malaga back in 2017. I remember because me and my step mum were excited there was a Primark in Spain so we couldn't resist going there. I knew I couldn't leave without buying something so in the end I got this one. I really love this one and think it's so cute. Beauty and the Beast is my favourite Disney movie and this makeup bag has so much space. It's handy

Changes

Image
Long time no see, but recently in my life there has been a lot of changes with a few ups and downs. The first one was I had my driving test booked for January and I thought I was ready but apparently one bad lesson before the test can mean you're unable to take the test. The nerves got to me that I made stupid mistakes that I wasn't allowed to take the test. Kind of sucks because you don't even get any sort of refund or a chance to rebook your test. It's just gone. Not even by my own choice. Either way that sucked and put a big downer on things. We move on though and just keep going. The second surprising thing was that I decided to give online dating a try again. I think after numerous failed disasters, I was a bit nervous. At the moment though it's become the best decision because I've met a guy and been talking to him for a month now. It's going really well so far and honestly made me realise how bad I was treated by my previous dates. So far I'm gett
