Summer Or Winter

Image
Every year, the same debate is on and in the UK, the most common topic of conversation is the weather. We are always never fully satisfied with the weather. Whether it's sunny, snowing or raining. Nothing is ever quite right for us. When it's hot, we complain. When it's cold, we complain. When it's raining, we're used to it, but we still complain.  For me, though I've figured out what I prefer. I'm someone that prefers the autumn and wintertime because I find it's so much easier to get yourself warmer than when it's hot in the Spring and Summer time, it's harder to get cooler. I also don't mind the rain. As long as you have a good raincoat then you're good to go. Umbrellas are never good unless it's a really good quality one otherwise guaranteed to be blown inside out and break. The rain is also nice when it's your day off and you're sitting at home because it's nice to just hear it patter again the window but also when it

Introvert And Proud

Image
The big question I have for you is: Do you see yourself as an introvert or an extrovert? I see myself as an introvert.  For those of you who have no idea what I'm talking about. Google it. I'm kidding but with the internet what it is, finding out something you don't know is easy as pie. For example the age of an actor in a film or what is introvert and extrovert. Either way, if you'd rather keep reading my blog (thank you by the way) then I'll give you a very short explanation. Introverts get their energy from being alone, they need time by themselves. It doesn't mean they're shy and awkward, they just need a break from socialising or else they may go insane. An extrovert is the opposite. They get their energy from socializing and being surrounded by people. It doesn't mean they're big-headed and overconfident. It just means they thrive from being surrounded by people. Sometimes you can get a mix of the two like an extroverted introvert or an introve

What's In My Bag?

Image
I thought I'd do an oldie but a goodie post and that's a 'what's in my bag' post. I've recently got a new bag and I've been loving it. I've used it for work and everyday use. It fits everything I need and it's just a nice bag.  This is my bag. I bought it from Amazon, and it came as part of a set of four. This was the biggest bag, then it came with a little bag, a clutch, and a wallet. I will leave a link below if you're interested, it comes in a variety of colours, not just grey. It's by the brand YTL and I just thought why not spend a little bit extra on a good quality handbag. It has a zipped pocket on the outside of the pack as well as a big compartment, two pockets and a zipped pocket on the inside.  Let's take a look inside. Excuse the mess but is anyone's handbag that tidy.  Starting with the inside zipped pocket which if you've seen my previous what's in my bag know it's where I always keep my sanitary products bec

Work Eat Sleep Repeat.

Image
Hey there! I know it's been two weeks since my last post. Honestly, that wasn't my intention as I had planned a couple of blog posts and even had the photos ready for them but as many of you know life got in the way. Although a clue in the title should be that work got in the way. Suddenly I went from having three shifts a week to having five shifts a week. Suddenly you realise you don't have time to do things anymore. It does feel like I work, eat, sleep, and repeat 24/7. I find my days off; I don't want to do much. Although I did do something spontaneous last weekend where I finished work and got a taxi home, got quickly ready before jumping on a train to stay over with a guy I'm currently seeing. Honestly, it was nice to have plans for once and I had a nice time. I mentioned before that I'm trying to make the most of my days off and do things on them. Although recently that has been a little tricky especially when my schedule is kind of all over the place. La

Summer Reading List

Image
Summer is honestly the perfect time for reading. The weather is nicer, so you have more opportunities to read outside whether it's on the beach, holiday etc. I thought I'd share my reading list of five books I plan on reading this summer which have been on my to be reading list for a while.  So let's get started. I Heart London by Lindsey Kelk I've been getting my way slowly through the I heart series so it's no surprise that this is on my Summer reading list. I'm currently reading I Heart Vegas as I'm writing this post and I'm excited because I really enjoyed the previous book. I get a sense knowing the title of the next book that I know where the story of Angela Clark is heading considering the ending of the last book but I'm very much excited as this story is definitely a feel good romantic comedy in a book. Of course I should include the rest of the series on this list as I'm planning on reading them too, but I didn't want to fill this re
