Things I'm Thankful For

Image
Happy Thanksgiving to all my American readers out there. Of course we don't celebrate it here in the UK as it's an American holiday but I thought I'd get in the spirit of things by listing all the things I'm thankful for.  1. My Family Of course my family means so much to me especially my mum as I live with her and she has been there for me since the day I was born. Of course I'm grateful to all my family and even though sometimes I don't speak to them on a weekly basis or see them much due to distance, they all mean so much to me and I wouldn't be the person I am without them. I love my family and I'm grateful to have them in my life. 2. My electronics This is definitely a modern age, first world thing but honestly I'd be a little lost without some of my electronics. My phone is always handy to have and my laptop is helping me to write and manage my own blog. I'm also thankful for my PS4 and television to be there during those times of boredom.

My Blogging Tips

Image
In 2023, it makes you wonder if Blogging is still relevant especially with content like YouTube, Instagram and Tik Tok. It does make you wonder if people are still taking the time to read blogs. In my opinion I still think blogging is relevant because it's something different and things like articles and blog posts get read daily. The big question you may be asking is should I start my own blog in 2023? My answer to you is you should if you want. It's a great way to express your thoughts and you can write your posts while wearing pyjamas. There are so many benefits and there's no rules to what your blog is all about. As I've been blogging now for nine years I thought why not share some tips that I've learned over the years that may help you to get started with your own blog. 1. Choose your Blog theme The first thing to narrow down is what the theme of your blog is going to be. There are lots of different themes to choose from such as travel, beauty, fashion, parenti

Harry Potter Studio Tour

Image
One thing I knew I wanted to do if I ever went to London was take a trip to the Harry Potter Studio Tour and my wish was granted as my mum gifted me the tickets for my birthday. As a huge Harry Potter fan, this was a once in a lifetime trip for me and I'm so glad I did it.  Honestly, it was an incredible day. We got the train to Watford Junction then got the free shuttle bus to the studio. That was great because it gave you a video from Tom Felton on what you can expect from the day. I was so excited. Even from the moment you step off from the bus and see the building is a real pinch me moment because I couldn't believe I was here. Even seeing the chess pieces outside just adds to the excitement. Then when you enter, all you can hear is the music from the films and that just adds to the feeling. I was definitely immersed in it all. I left my coat at the free cloakroom and picked up the free passport where you can stamp along your journey through the studio tour. Then finally it

London

Image
A few months ago me and my mum decided to plan a trip to London and before we knew it, November had arrived. I was so excited because I haven't been to London since I was eight years old and even then we were there for one night so it was nice to enjoy two nights away in London. Our plan was pretty much to just be tourists. We did the London Eye when I was eight so we knew we weren't fussed on doing that.  I did have two goals in mind. One was to visit the Harry Potter studio tour and the other was to see a West End Show. I'm happy to say we achieved both of those goals. The studio tour was an incredible experience that I'm going to dedicate a whole post for as it was just amazing. In the West End we watched Back to the Future the Musical and honestly it was an incredible experience. We were in the Dress Circle in row L and it was a great view of the whole stage. It was a fantastic show from the cast to the music to the special effects. It really was amazing and would h

Thank You I’ve just hit 100,000 page views on this blog and honestly I’d never thought I’d ever get to that figure. I was happy to get 1000 views but in the nine years I’ve run this blog that figure honestly means a lot to me. I just wanted to take this moment to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to anyone that’s taken the time to view, read, share and comment on my blog. It means a lot that people from all over the world have viewed my own little piece of the internet. Maybe even enjoyed one or two of my posts or even taken on board some advice I’ve given. Either way I’m thankful you’ve helped this blog grow and this is definitely a highlight of my year.  Especially as I’m coming up to ten years on my blog in May 2024. It’s a wonderful achievement to reach 100,000 page views. Thank you once again and I’ll be back soon with another post for you.  See you then.
