Autumn Plans

Image
As it's pretty much Autumn, I thought I'd share with you all about my plans for Autumn. I'm kind of using as a guide for myself so that come December I can see whether I've achieved these plans that I've set up for myself this Autumn. It's not going to be a very big list but it's just a few things that I wish to achieve this Autumn. Let's get started! 1. Celebrate My 22nd Birthday Now one of my favourite parts of Autumn is my birthday in October. Now being an adult, birthdays are kind of not a big deal anymore. However, for my 22nd I plan to do something for it. I've booked the day off for it which is great so it gives me a chance to do something. Whether it's going somewhere for the day or go on a night out. I want to celebrate my birthday in style and just make a day of it. 2. Graduation In November is my graduation which has been a long time coming. After completing three years of university and getting my degree, Graduation is the

I Don't Know

Do you ever just have days where you have no idea what you're doing with your life? Because same. It's like when you were kid and everyone used to ask you what you want to be when you grow up and it was so easy to give an answer because when you're young it seems easier to get to the person you want to be. However, as you get older the question of what you want to do when you grow up becomes harder and harder to answer because it suddenly seems impossible to do what you want to do. Reality basically kicks in and you realise you may need loads of qualifications or even experience in the field before you can do what you want to do. It's not exactly easy. I'm kind of in that situation now. I've done my GCSEs and A Levels. I've also been to university and got my degree. Now three months after finishing university. I have no idea what to do with my life or even how I'm going to get there. I'm trying to make these plans for next year but it seems di

University Essentials (Things You Shouldn't Forget)

As it's coming closer to the time when everyone is starting back to university. I thought, as I recently just finished university, that I would share twenty one things that you should not forget when you go to university. I'm going to base this list mostly on people who are moving away to university but I'm sure there are a few things that students living at home could take from this. 1. Laptop I know laptops can be expensive but honestly bringing your own laptop is essential because you can do assignments, watch Netflix, YouTube and other stuff. It just means you don't have to rely on using the limited number of computers in the library all the time. The only times I used the library computers was if I needed to use Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator because I didn't have them installed on my own laptop or to print something off. It's just so much convenient having your own laptop to do your work on. 2. ID (Driving Licence/Provisional/Passport) You may g

300 Posts

I can't quite believe that this is my 300th post on this blog. It's crazy. I never thought I'd ever make 300 posts. When I started this blog over four years ago, it was just a little fun. Making blog posts and getting about 10 views. I mean I got excited that 10 people read my post. Although I was worried that it was just me viewing the post. Yet I still had hope that someone somewhere was reading my blog. Now though I get up to 60 page views. Like it's crazy that so many take the time out of their day to view something that I wrote. What's even crazier is that my blog has reached over 20,000 page views. Like I never even thought it was possible. Once upon a time I was excited when I had a 1000 page views but now it's unbelievable to be that my blog has been viewed over 20,000 times. Like how is that even possible. It just goes to show when you start a blog, you might not get as much attention in the first year or so. You may only get 1000 page views in t

Everyday Makeup

As I was doing my makeup today, I thought why not share with you all the products I'm using. Seeing as I haven't shown you my makeup in a blog post for a while, I thought why not show you now. Some of these products I'm using today are also relatively new but since I got them I have been loving them so far. Anyway, let's begin! The first thing I use is concealer. I don't use foundation daily just because I find it's too much effort and so I save it for special occasions if I'm going to a party or going on a night out. Instead I use concealer as I can conceal the dark circles under my eyes and any spots or blemishes on my face. I love doing this because I'm not completely covering my face and my skin can breathe while also covering up any imperfections on my face. The concealer I use is the Revolution Fast Base Concealer in the shade C3. I recently bought this concealer online from Superdrug and ever since I got it, I've been loving it. It has

Current Reading List

Image
As someone who loves reading, although I've been a little slow on the reading front this year. I thought I'd share with you what I'm currently reading. Normally I try to stick to reading just one book to read at a time but I currently have three books on my bedside which I'm trying to read now. So, let's get started: The first book I'm currently reading, or should I say rereading for the millionth time, is Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling. Sometimes if you're ever in a reading slump and don't know what to read. Reread the Harry Potter series. I'm currently on the fifth book, the Order of Phoenix. Honestly, this book is great but for some reason when I get to the fifth book it just takes me forever to get through it. Probably because it's the longest book in the series but because it takes me so long it just feels like it's effort to read it. Does anyone else feel like that? With the first four I can get through quick as a flash but as soon

Life Update

It's finally September! Which means jumper season is upon us. I love this time of year when it's the beginning of Autumn because so many exciting things are happening this time of year. It's the start of school/university/college/work. It's kind of a fresh start for a lot of people where they can just hit the reset button on life and start a fresh again. Although this year it's very weird for me because for the first time in 17 years I'm not going back to school or university or any kind of education. It feels very weird because I'm not buying any new stationary or even a new planner. I just feel very odd now that I'm not in education. However, all is not at a loss because I now have a job in McDonalds. It's going well so far and it's just what I need really to keep myself busy. Plus, I'm earning money so I can start saving for my plans for next year. Honestly if you've graduated from uni and are at a stump about what to do next. Get
