Reading Goals

Image
As someone who is a massive bookworm, I always get excited every year when I set my new Goodreads goal and this year I've got it to 30 books which is similar to what I did last year. Sometimes I'm hit and miss with reading as I will read a book in one day to it will take me a few months to read a book. However, I'm excited about the books on my reading list and thought I'd share with you the books I'm planning on reading this year. Carry On By Rainbow Rowell Carry On by Rainbow Rowell is a book that wasn't initially ever on my reading list, however last year I reread Fangirl and inside the book has snippets of the Carry On which piqued my interest. I've heard good things about it so I added it to my cart and now own a copy. I'm excited to read it because while I know hints of the story from Fangirl, I don't know what to expect other than the two characters of Baz and Simon. I know it also has similiar vibes to Harry Potter as it is based in a wizardi...

My Winter Reading List

Image
As a lover of books, I feel like winter is the perfect time to get some reading done and even more so when the books are related to Winter in some way or another. I'm so excited as I have two books on my winter reading list which are related to Christmas and therefore will make the perfect December reads. It's surprising because everyone knows the story but how many of you have actually read the book. Therefore I made it my mission to read A Christmas Carol this winter and it makes sense as this year I've been reading a lot of classic books like Peter Pan and Oliver Twist so it makes sense to add another classic to that list. Plus what is Christmas without indulging into an adaption of A Christmas Carol and this time I'm indulging into the b...

Favourite Apps During Lockdown

Image
I try not to be on my phone all the time and most of the time I'll either use my laptop or PlayStation. Although I've discovered I do have a few favourite apps that I find myself always going on because they bring entertainment and stop me from being bored. I thought I'd share some of these apps in case you needed some new app recommendations. I'm not sponsored by any of these apps so all these thoughts are my honest opinion. 1. Golf Battle At my Dad's house, we have a Nintendo Wii and one of my favourite things to do while I'm down there is play Wii Sports Golf. It brings out the competitive side to the family and it's a joy to play. Anyway long story short, I wondered if there was a golf game in the App Store and here's where I found Golf Battle. It's so fun because it's like crazy golf but you get to play online on different levels with people around the world. I am so addicted. 2. Audible I love listening to audiobooks and A...
