Reading Goals

As someone who is a massive bookworm, I always get excited every year when I set my new Goodreads goal and this year I've got it to 30 books which is similar to what I did last year. Sometimes I'm hit and miss with reading as I will read a book in one day to it will take me a few months to read a book. However, I'm excited about the books on my reading list and thought I'd share with you the books I'm planning on reading this year.

Carry On By Rainbow Rowell
Carry On by Rainbow Rowell is a book that wasn't initially ever on my reading list, however last year I reread Fangirl and inside the book has snippets of the Carry On which piqued my interest. I've heard good things about it so I added it to my cart and now own a copy. I'm excited to read it because while I know hints of the story from Fangirl, I don't know what to expect other than the two characters of Baz and Simon. I know it also has similiar vibes to Harry Potter as it is based in a wizarding world and I think it's cool that the main girl's fanfiction in Fangirl is in bookform. I'm aware there's also sequels to this book, whether I get around to them is another question. Either way I'm excited for this to be my next read.

I Heart Series by Lindsey Kelk
I've owned the entire I Heart series for an entire year and really enjoy them so I'm excited to finally get around to reading the final two books of the series. This book series surprised me as I wasn't sure where it was heading and it gave me similar vibes to another series I enjoyed which is the Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella. It's been a great read and almost makes me wish I was spontaneous to travel to different countries and have the same adventures that Angela has. I really enjoyed I Heart Christmas so I'm looking forward to where the final two books take us.

To All The Boys series by Jenny Han
I read the first book To All The Boys I've Loved Before way back in 2018 and I have owned the next two books not long after that. Honestly, I have no idea why it's taken me so long to get around to reading the rest of the series. I will confess, I have watched the entire Netflix trilogy so I do know what happens in the story. However, I do really want to get around to reading the series and finally say I've read them after sitting for so long on my bookshelf. I know I'll enjoy them.

There we have it. Those are my reading goals so far for this year. I'll be sure to update you on any of my reading goals. Let me know if you want anymore book content, I can always do reviews or share my thoughts on any of my favourite books. Let me know in the comments below and I will definitely take that on board.

That's all I have to say. Thank you for reading my blog and I'll be back again soon with another post.

See you then.
