Things I'm Thankful For

Happy Thanksgiving to all my American readers out there. Of course we don't celebrate it here in the UK as it's an American holiday but I thought I'd get in the spirit of things by listing all the things I'm thankful for.

1. My Family
Of course my family means so much to me especially my mum as I live with her and she has been there for me since the day I was born. Of course I'm grateful to all my family and even though sometimes I don't speak to them on a weekly basis or see them much due to distance, they all mean so much to me and I wouldn't be the person I am without them. I love my family and I'm grateful to have them in my life.

2. My electronics
This is definitely a modern age, first world thing but honestly I'd be a little lost without some of my electronics. My phone is always handy to have and my laptop is helping me to write and manage my own blog. I'm also thankful for my PS4 and television to be there during those times of boredom. I know it's very sad but I do realise I rely a lot on my electronics and so I'm thankful to them for being a convenience in my life.

3. My best friend
Sometimes all you need is one best friend in life and honestly I love my best friend. She is amazing and I've known her a long time. Even though we live an hour apart from one another when we get together it's almost like no time has passed. There's never any awkward moments and I could tell her anything. I'm very thankful to have my best friend and now that I can drive, I know I'll be seeing her more and more.

4. My job
Random but true. This year I got a brand new job and I absolutely love it. The hours are Monday to Friday and I actually have a set schedule. I get the weekends off which is amazing and I'm really happy in my new job. You don't realise how bad your last working hours were until you have better hours. Honestly, making the decision to switch careers was a scary one but honestly I'm so happy right now and I do love my job. I'm definitely grateful for the opportunity as no day is different.

5. Myself
Honestly, I'm thankful to myself. I don't even give myself enough credit because I'm always worried about getting things wrong. I've got two degrees under my belt and a new job that I love. I recently passed my driving test. The only downside is my love life is a little dead right now but maybe one day that will change. Either way I'm thankful for the person I am and I wouldn't want to change me for anyone. That is why I'm thankful to myself.

Anyway, those are all the things I'm thankful for. I'm sure there are many more but I don't want this post to go on forever. Let me know one thing you're thankful for in the comments below. I would love to hear it.

Thank you for reading my blog and I'll be back soon with another post.

See you then.
