Harry Potter Studio Tour

One thing I knew I wanted to do if I ever went to London was take a trip to the Harry Potter Studio Tour and my wish was granted as my mum gifted me the tickets for my birthday. As a huge Harry Potter fan, this was a once in a lifetime trip for me and I'm so glad I did it.

Honestly, it was an incredible day. We got the train to Watford Junction then got the free shuttle bus to the studio. That was great because it gave you a video from Tom Felton on what you can expect from the day. I was so excited. Even from the moment you step off from the bus and see the building is a real pinch me moment because I couldn't believe I was here. Even seeing the chess pieces outside just adds to the excitement. Then when you enter, all you can hear is the music from the films and that just adds to the feeling. I was definitely immersed in it all. I left my coat at the free cloakroom and picked up the free passport where you can stamp along your journey through the studio tour. Then finally it was time to enter. You're first brought into a big room where they give you a little introduction and what to expect and after you're brought into a cinema room with a short film from the three main actors. Honestly, I was getting emotional then the screen lifts and you're greeted with the door of the great hall. I was in tears at this point because I couldn't quite believe this was happening then the doors opened and you're in the great hall ready to start the tour.

Honestly, as a huge Harry Potter fan this is well worth the trip because just to see the amazing sets, costumes and props was just incredible. We went during the Christmas at Hogwarts theme so it was even more magical to see the sets dressed with Christmas trees and decorations plus it was snowing at some parts. It was a great feeling. The fact you can just wander around at your own pace and take in everything really helps. It has videos and audio from the films at certain parts. My favourite was the potions classroom where it had the audio from the first potions class in the first film. It really made you feel immersed in everything. Honestly, everything just felt so magical and I honestly loved every moment of it. Definitely well worth the money as there is so much to see. It's so much bigger than what you expect and everywhere you turn there's something magical. Plus having the music playing really does just make it all the more immersive.

It was definitely the best day of my life and I hope one day I'll be able to visit it again because it was an amazing experience.

Anyway, here are a few photos that I took on the day so feel free to enjoy.
There we have it, that was my trip to the Warner Bro's Studio Tour, the making of Harry Potter. It was an incredible experience and definitely worth it.
Thank you for reading my blog and I'll be back again soon with another post.

See you then.
