Christmas Excitement

It's officially December so the Christmas excitement can begin. I always try to get excited in the middle of November but to me it just doesn't feel like Christmas yet. The moment I feel ready to get excited for Christmas is the moment I open the first door on my chocolate advent calendar because that's the start of the countdown for Christmas.

However, I have done my Christmas shopping early and finished it before December. Which is a first for me but one night I had a surge of inspiration to plan out Christmas presents. The reason is because there's always one person that you struggle to get for because you're not sure what they want or need or even what they like. For me that was my big brother so I did a google search of gifts then a brilliant idea came to mind for what to get him. Unfortunately I can't tell you in case he reads this but honestly you can find some great gift ideas looking online or even just looking around in the shops. There's so many gift ideas out there you just need to find the right one for the right person.

Anyway after finding out a gift idea for my brother it just made me want to plan out everyone's gifts and I only have about seven people to get for so that made it slightly easier. Before I knew it I had finished my Christmas shopping and they are wrapped up. Something I decided to do this year was something I saw on Facebook and instead of using Christmas wrapping paper I decided to use recycled brown paper. because it's recyclable so it helps with the environment. Plus it looks pretty especially when you add ribbons. Below is the picture of my wrapped gifts and they're not perfect (mostly because I can't tie a pretty ribbon) but I actually love how they look. I highly recommend it because once they're under the tree they'll look so pretty,

Another thing is that gifts don't have to be expensive. I don't know why overboard with spending so much on presents. There's some pretty nice gifts for reasonable prices. It's the thought that counts not the price.

If someone bought me a bag of M&M's or a bar of original Dairy Milk then I would be so happy because they are my favourite chocolates. Sometimes it's the little gifts people appreciate rather than the price of them.

Anyway, that's all I have to say about Christmas. I hope you enjoyed this post and expect some more Christmas related posts soon.

Let me know what makes you excited for Christmas or whatever holiday you celebrate this time of year. I would love to know.

I'll be back again soon with another post.

See you then.
