Happy Mothers Day

To all the beautiful mothers out there, Happy Mother's Day.

To some of my readers across the ponds. Today in the UK it's Mother's Day. I don't know why we have a completely different day to other countries, but we do. I think our Father's Day is the same day everywhere but mother's day is different. I don't know who decides the days, but I guess they wanted different day. Oh well.

I thought I'd talk about my mother. She is a single parent who raised me and my brother when we were teenagers on her own and she is honestly the best mum ever. I consider her like my best friend which may sound weird because she is my mother, but we do so much together. We go shopping, go out to eat and even travel together. My mum always tells me she doesn't mind staying in a hotel with me because she knows we'll have a relaxing time. My mum means so much to me and I'm so happy to have that unbreakable bond with her. I know I can tell her literally anything, no matter how bad it is, and she'll support me. I mean she is amazing because she lets her 25 year old daughter still live with her (I pay rent and contribute towards groceries before anyone judges) but it means I'm not financially struggling like I was when I was living in Manchester.

She is the best mum and to thank her on Mother's Day, I'm cooking her a roast dinner of Lamb Shanks and all the vegetables. Plus I got a chocolate pudding which I'm excited for. Also my mum really enjoys my cooking so it's a win win. I did get her a book by Robbie Williams called You Know Me because she loves Robbie Williams. Plus the meal is part of gift as well so. I think I'm doing pretty good day.

So yeah, go show your mum some love and appreciation on this day because mum's are the best and they deserve so much credit for what they do. Of course I know not everyone may have a decent mum like I do but may have a motherly figure in their life that they look up too. Show them so love and show your dad some love to or whatever parent figure in your life that means so much to you. Show them love because today is a beautiful day, and everyone deserves a bit of love.

Thank you for reading my blog. I hope you all have a lovely day; however you're spending it. I'll be back again soon with another post.

See you then.
