In recent times I’ve noticed cinema etiquette seems to go right out the window. Whether it’s people checking their phones or talking or just sitting so close to you even when there’s no assigned seating. Let me just tell you that, if you’re checking your phone during the cinema. You’re not being subtle. Everyone can see the bright screen. Even if you turn the brightness down, it’s still in everyone’s line of sight. Going to the cinema isn’t cheap and it’s an experience. It’s a chance to escape for some people which means not checking your phone for two hours. If you’re really concerned about checking your phone, take it outside for a couple of minutes or better yet, sit at the back of the theatre so nobody can see you. It’s always the people that sit near the front that check their phones and maybe they’re oblivious to people behind them but guess what when you check your phone, everyone’s eyes are on you. As it's party season, I thought it would be a good idea to share what's in my going out bag as I'm going on a night out for Mad Friday this week and I'm so excited. Plus I thought it would be fun to share what I like to bring with me on a night out, let's get started. This is my going out bag and I've had this bag for over ten years. I originally got it from Matalan and I love it because it's a small clutch bag with a little strap, but you can surprisingly fit a lot in it. Also with the strap allows you to hold it in your hand, on your wrist and shoulder which is always handy. It's definitely a preference of mine. For today's photo of the day, it's my favourite mug.  I feel like there's a Disney theme with today's post and yesterday's post. This is my favourite mug and I've had this mug for over ten years now. I remember getting it from a Disney Store when I was about fifteen and I have a fond memory of being judged for buying this mug by my mum's ex friend. Apparently, I was too old to be buying this mug and had an eye roll. If anything that made me want the mug more and also how sad someone's life can be for judging somebody for buying something they like. It's a mug at the end of the day and still over ten years later, I'm using it on a daily basis. I love this mug mainly because it's so big and I do enjoy having my coffee in it. This is definitely my coffee mug because I can't imagine drinking anything out of it. I have another mug for tea and other hot drinks but coffee always has to be in this mug. This is day nine of my photo challenge which is a drink. This is a hot chocolate from M&S cafe and it was actually really tasty. Normally because I'm such a big kid, I would have cream and marshmallows on top but they never asked me for it which I was kind of sad about. Either way it was quite nice to have hot chocolate. The only reason I was in this cafe was because it was pouring with rain and I was waiting for my mum to be finished with what she was doing. I think she had an appointment and I'd just finished work.  It seems weird to have hot chocolate in the Summer but like I said it was pouring with rain on this day and I fancied hot chocolate. It got me thinking that I'm ready for the cosy night ins during the Autumn and Winter months. I'm definitely someone who prefers these months compared to Summer and Spring. So something different and fun I thought I'd share is my bedside table because sometimes you can tell a lot about a person from their bedside table. The bedside table itself, I literally have no idea where it's from because it was either second hand from someone and it has been in this house for a few years now. It has two drawers and cupboard at the bottom but I'm not going to go into those things because they are just too cluttered. We're just going to focus on the top of my bedside table and below is an overview of what is on my bedside table. Let's get started. The first thing I have is my bottle of squash because I'm someone who gets thirsty especially in the middle of the night so it's an essential for me to have a drink on my bedside at all times. I mentioned in my previous post talking about dates you can do alone and one of the suggestions I made was taking yourself on a walking date which got me thinking maybe I should let you know some essentials you can take on a walking date with yourself. Of course you can go on a walking date with a friend or partner so these essentials can work for any time you go for a walk.  1. Comfy Walking Shoes I think this is a pretty obvious thing to take when you're walking but just in case you forget, wear comfy shoes whether it's trainers or walking shoes or converse. Just wear some comfy shoes because there's nothing worse when you're out for a walk and your feet hurt because you wore the wrong shoes so on your next walk maybe don't wear heels. Last night was very spontaneous. I went out into town unexpectedly with my friends. Let me tell you how it happened. I was about to make a cup of tea when I could hear my friends in the hallway so I went out and saw them all dressed up and slightly drunk. They saw me and said 'Megan, come out! Our taxi won't be here for another fifteen minutes.' In that moment I said to them 'Maybe, I'll go out.' So I turned around and abandoned my cup of tea making. I realised I hadn't gone out in ages and I really wanted to. So I literally got ready in ten minutes. Took a mascara, a lip gloss and a compact hairbrush/mirror and left my room to go to my friends room. I had some time to put on my mascara, lip gloss and brush my hair. Then a few minutes later the taxi arrived. Before I knew it I was out drinking in the town. Yeah, that's why it was so spontaneous. Hey guys! So today I decided to have a Starbucks on campus and found out their Christmas drinks are out. I was so happy because I love them. They taste amazing. My favourites are Toffee Nut Latte, Gingerbread Latte and Honey and Almond Hot Chocolate. That's when I know it's Christmas time when Starbucks brings out those drinks around this time of year. I know it's November 11th but I can't help but think about Christmas and what I'm going to get my friends and family.  It plays on my mind I don't want to put some thought in the presents I give to other people.  Oh well. What do you watch or read during me-time? I like to watch films that make me smile. So for me it'll be a musical. I either watch Cats or Shrek the musical as they make me smile and I know they'll cheer me up if I'm feeling down. Hey guys! So today I thought I would show you what I think you should have in your bag/purse when you're going on a night out. Hopefully this will help some of you out. Anyway, let's do this. So this is the overall view of all the things I would take on a night out. When I go out I'd like to take a small crossbody bag so I don't have to keep holding the bag and I also like it to have a zip so that I don't have to worry about anything falling out.  This is the bag I would take. I don't know where this bag is from as my mum gave it to me and she doesn't remember when she got it from. It has two zip pockets on the front and a zipped pocket on the inside. It easily holds everything I need for a night out. This is my purse which I take. I don't like to take a big purse with all my cards just in case I lose it. I just have my money and ID in here.
