Little Things That Made Me Smile

Today, I'd thought I'd share little things that have made me smile this week.

Playing Grand Theft Auto Vice City
Recently I've been playing GTA Vice City which I know is a very random choice but I never actually played it, I only remember playing the Vice City Stories so the map was familiar to me but the story wasn't. I had a lot of fun because my one goal was trying to get all the trophies but I completed the game and still missed a few. I may have to restart the game to get certain trophies because apparently I missed some missable trophies which means I couldn't get 100% on the game. Either way it was something I had fun doing and it took my mind off things and allowed me to escape.

Leaving work on time
Have you ever had to stay late at work? Recently I have been doing a lot so it was nice to be able to finish work on time because it was nice to go home at a decent time. Of course the overtime pay will be worth it but there's just something about finishing work on time just brings me joy.

Cooking
I did a bit of cooking on Tuesday and made a delicious beef stir fry and I loved it. I followed a recipe on Instagram because I'm always being recommended noodle recipes online so I always like to experiment. This one I used beef mince with noodles and it was really tasty. Definitely a game changer using beef mince with noodles. I highly recommend it.

Spending time with my special someone
This weekend, I decided to spend the whole weekend with my special someone because normally we get to either spend the night or just one day together so I decided to make it three days which honestly was great. It was just nice being able to hang out with him and do things together. Definitely a highlight of my week was seeing him.

Anyway, those are the little things that made me smile this week. I know it's not much but sometimes it is the little things that can brighten up your week. I encourage you this week to make a note of everything that made you smile and you'll be surprised at how sometimes the little things can make a big difference to your mood.

Thank you for taking the time to view my blog and I'll be back tomorrow with another post.

See you then.
