Happy Easter

Image
Wishing you all a very Happy Easter whether you celebrate it or it's just another Sunday for you. At least it's the bank holiday weekend. I feel quite blessed because I'm not back in work until Wednesday so I'm making the most of it. I've bought my own Easter egg to enjoy for the day, although I did start eating some of it on Friday.  I'm spending time with my family today, not doing a lot but just relaxing. Might go for a walk later to get some fresh air but other than that. Nothing much else is going on today for me.  However you're spending the day, I hope it's a good one and I wish you all the best. Thank you for taking the time to view my blog and I'll be back soon with another post. See you then.  Megan x  *This is not a sponsored post* For business enquiries or just a chat email: megantimeblog@gmail.com

Why I Love Spring?

Image
Spring time is definitely here and I love this time of year because the sun is shining but the weather is still a bit cooler. The perfect weather for me. I thought for today's post I'd share all the reasons why I love Spring and you can let me know in the comments if you agree or if there's anything else that I've not mentioned. Maybe even the opposite, you dislike Spring or hate it with a passion. Either way, I'd love to hear everyone's thoughts in the comments below.  Without further ado, here's all the reasons why I love Spring. The Weather I already mentioned the weather but it is an integral part of Spring. The weather is getting nicer, gone are the colder days. We're switching up our coats to lighter coats as it's not quite hot that we have to ditch them but it's not that cold that you need a thick coat. It's just the right temperature. Even now as I look out my window I can see sunny weather and blue skies which is just a nice sight to...

April

Image
It's April Fool's Day so be wary of everything you see online today as it may not be true. This month though I've decided to create a blog post everyday for the month of April. I know that may sound like an April Fool's joke but honestly I've created 30 posts that I'm very excited to share with you this month so be sure to check back on this blog everyday for a new post.  Aside from blogging everyday, I don't really have much planned for this month. I'm thinking of planning a little road trip in my car. I'm not sure where yet but I just want to spend more time getting used to driving and taking my car on longer journeys. Eventually I want to drive on the motorway and build my confidence with that. Nothing else much planned for this month but I'm going on holiday next month with the family so I'm going to start planning what to take on holiday and don't worry I'll have a couple of travel related posts for you to read this month as the ...

5 Things I Love About Spring

Image
Spring is in the air and I'm so excited for it. I'd say Spring is my second favourite season because it's not too hot but it's also not too cold. It's weather that's just right for me. Now that the season of Spring is here, I thought I'd share five things I love about Spring with you guys. Let's get started. 1. Easter Who doesn't love getting chocolate easter eggs. It's always exciting, although I sometimes treat myself to a mini Easter egg early because I just love the taste of it. Is it me or does chocolate taste better when it's in an egg form. I love it. This Easter is actually exciting for me because it's a bank holiday and I'm going to be spending it in Dublin for the first time. I've never been to Ireland before so I'm really excited for this. I can't wait. This Easter is going to be great. Let me know what your plans for this Easter weekend are in the comments below. I would love to hear it. 2. Longer days Very soo...

Happy Easter

Image
Happy Easter Everyone! Whether you celebrate it or not or just use it as the perfect excuse to eat chocolate all day. It may be just another day, but you can still make it into a nice Sunday.  Having the perfect Sunday Roast with all the trimmings could be nice and even nicer to invite friends or family over. Make it into a little party.  If you have children, have an Easter Egg Hunt, or play games.  Have a movie day (not that there's many Easter movies) but watch movies that you enjoy whether it's a good old Disney Movie, a Harry Potter marathon or just your favourite feel-good movies that bring a smile to your face.  Either way, I hope whatever you do that I hope you have a lovely day and if you're really struggling for ideas then my previous post is filled with ideas for Easter for anyone to enjoy so be sure to check it out.  That's all I have to really say for now. I hope you have a lovely day and I'll be back again soon with another post.  See you then...

5 Easter Ideas

Image
Easter Sunday is coming up next week and whether you celebrate it or just see it as another day. It's the perfect excuse to have some fun and make it a less boring Sunday. I've come up with a list whether you have a family, friends or spending the day alone. Here are few ideas that you might enjoy on Easter Sunday.  1. Sunday Roast Who doesn't love a Sunday Roast? I don't know about anyone else around the world but in the UK, everyone loves a good old fashioned Sunday Roast. Of course you can adapt whether you are a meat lover or vegan. Easter is a good excuse to have a nice meal whether it's with family or friends or have one by yourself. Who says you need other people to enjoy a roast dinner at least you get to decide what you actually want and there's no arguments over what potatoes to choose: boiled/mashed/roasted? For me it's roast potatoes every time. Either way, it's a nice excuse to have a roast and even go all out with all the trimmings because ...

Spring Is Here

Image
It is the beginning of March and I always find this time to be the beginning of spring. It's a happier time because the weather is starting to get warmer. Days feel longer because it gets darker later on due to the clocks going forward. Flowers start to bloom and it's also the perfect time to have a good old spring clean.  I'd say Autumn is probably my favourite season for many reasons but there's a lot to love about Springtime and I thought I'd share what I love about Spring: Today just so happens to be Pancake Day so a great excuse to eat pancakes The perfect time to do a Spring Clean and organise your life by decluttering things you don't need The days feel longer as night comes later because the clocks go forward Giving up something for lent (whether you do it or not, it's always fun to give something up for 40 days like chocolate, takeaways etc.) It makes you feel good when you do achieve it. I'm thinking of giving up chocolate this year. Easter Egg...

Happy Easter!

Image
Happy Easter Everyone! I am sure we are all spending Easter Sunday a little differently this year as we are not supposed to leave the house or go visit family. It is confusing times but just think you are slowing the spread of the virus down if you stay inside. Plus you can always video chat or even call family to wish them a Happy Easter. Make the most of the day by just appreciating what you have. Spend it with members of your household. I am happy to spend it with my mum and just eat chocolate all day. So whether you celebrate Easter or not, I hope you have an amazing day and do something that makes you really happy. Whether that's binge watching your favourite TV Series, playing a video game or reading a book. Just have fun. That's all I have to really say about it. Thank you for reading my post and I'll be back tomorrow with another for you. See you then. Megan x  *This is not a sponsored post* For business enquiries or just a chat email: megantimeblo...

Second Year

Image
I have basically finished with my second year at university. I've completed all my assignments, done my exam and I have no more lectures. It's crazy how quickly that has gone by. The reason why I've finished my second year of uni so early is because after Easter we have to do five weeks of work placement or in my case experiential learning which basically work placement but set in my university. It's just five weeks of doing work from nine to five everyday (except for weekends I think). It's like gaining experience for life after university which is relevant to the degree you're studying. Even though that is happening after Easter, I have no assignments or deadlines or exams to do. I do have to wait for the results of my assignments to see if I've passed or fail but I am pretty much finished. It's crazy how quickly university goes. One minute you're a carefree first year having the time of your life in uni. Next is when you're in second ...

University Second Term

Image
It is that time of the year again where the second term of university begins. This is my final term of lectures for second year as after Easter I am off to do experiential learning where I go and learn skills required for the media industry working environment. I feel a bit excited and nervous at the same time because this term it is all about handing in the assignments and getting all the work done before Easter. It's only two and half months then that will be my second year of lectures over with. That is quite crazy. Nobody was joking when they said university will fly by because it feels like it has. I swear it was only yesterday that I was a nervous fresher going to my first week of lectures. Now I'm half way through my second year. In Autumn 2017 I'll be in my final year of university. I can't believe it. This term I'll definitely be working harder than ever. I want to be able to get a good marks so that I don't have to worry about resits or anythi...

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter everybody! I hope you all have a lovely day wherever you are. I hope you get lots of chocolate and try not to eat it all in one day. Which is a really big struggle.  Anyway, have a great day with however way you spend it and enjoy yourself. Megan x

Happy Easter Everyone!

Hey guys! Happy Easter to you all. I hope you have a really great day whether your spending it with family, friends or just by yourself. I hope you got loads of chocolate (unlike me who only got one but at least one is better than none) Don't eat it all at once or you might be sick and that could ruin your day. Just have lots of fun and remember to text your family to wish them a Happy Easter. Anyway, that's all I have to say. Bye guys! I love you all. My one and only Easter egg :)
