July Favourites

Image
The end of another month means it's time for another monthly favourites update. Let's get started. Johnson’s Baby Shampoo I was looking for a way to clean my makeup brushes and normally I’d buy a specific makeup brush cleaner. Yet those are always so expensive and I never know if they work properly. I remember ages ago on YouTube someone recommended Johnson’s baby shampoo so I decided to give it a go. All I can say is it worked perfectly. It cleans the brushes so well and because it’s a gentle shampoo I know it will be okay for my skin after cleaning my brushes with it. Plus it was very satisfying seeing the makeup coming off the brushes. Definitely something I’d be using again and again for when I clean my makeup brushes. I highly recommend it.  Bratz Rock Angelz PS2 I have a lot of ps2 games that I’ve kept for nostalgia but also because they bring back so many memories. I also am fortunate to still have my PS2 so from time to time I will play on it. I was looking through my g...

Things That Make Me Happy

Image
I thought I'd share five things that make me happy because it's good to have things in your life that make you happy and these are mine. Let's get started.  Driving My Own Car I honestly love driving my car. It's a great feeling just being able to get in my car and go anywhere. I love listening to music in my car because when I drive, I'm singing along and it's a great feeling. It's therapeutic. When I first got my car, it made me nervous but as long as you know what you're doing and go at your pace. Plus remain focused then you'll be fine. It gives you so much freedom and independence when you drive and honestly, I don't know what I did before I had my own car.  Playing a video game I don't know why but getting invested in a good video game is something that really makes me happy. Sometimes I love replaying games I know off by heart but it helps me to switch my brain off and focus on something in a while. Recently I've played Tomb Raider...

Wreck This Journal

Image
As someone who loves journaling and scrapbooking, this book was perfect. I'd heard of this book but never thought of getting it until watching a tik tok video about it. I love the way that there is no right or wrong way to do this journal. You can take the pages literally or you can interpret them, however you feel like it. I've had a lot of fun so far and thought I'd share the pages I've done. I'm pretty proud of them and I'm looking forward to filling up the pages. Let's get started.  This is my journal. I decided to doodle on the page and just used a white pen to doodle lines around. I literally just took the pen and went round with no real pattern in mind. What is interesting is when you buy the book you don't think it's going to be expandable but as I fill the pages, it does feel like it's expandable. Although I've seen end results where some have had to tape the pages or wrap string around the pages so it will be interesting to see what...

March Favourites

Image
I can't believe it's the final day of March and you know what that means. It's time for another post about what I've been loving this month. I'm going to be honest with you. This month has flown by and I feel like my list isn't that long because I didn't get much of a chance to enjoy many things because of things like work and packing for Ireland. However, I have managed to enjoy a couple of things this month so I'm going to share them with you now.  The Apprentice I've been loving this year's Apprentice so far. It's definitely different because the candidates don't seem to be completely useless and full of themselves like in previous series. I feel like every firing that has happened so far has been justified. I can't even put my finger on who my favourite to win is but my favourite candidate is Tre Lowe as he has done really well so far and I hope he gets far in the competition. I don't know if he'll win it but we shall have...

Scrapbooking

Image
A hobby that I've picked up recently is scrapbooking and honestly, I love it. I've done a few scrapbooking before where I've compiled memories I've collected over the years but recently I decided to go down a more arty, creative scrapbooking route. I was inspired by YouTube videos such as Diário Da Chelse and Chacha Note ASMR as they are really creative with their scrapbooking. Plus it's satisfying to watch that it got me inspired to try it out for myself and honestly, I've been loving it.  Just putting different pieces together is really fun to do. I'm not the best at it but it's something that has kept me occupied and just something to do that doesn't involve a screen. I brought letter stamps as well as scrapbooking paper and different bits that I'm excited to put together.  It was pretty straightforward how I got started. I bought a scrapbook then bought supplies from the Works and Amazon then I just let my mind wander through different styles...
