Day 24 Desk

Image
For today's photo of the day, it's my desk. It's nothing special on my desk, it's the place where I write my blog posts and also do my makeup. I not long ago did a desk tour on this blog and it hasn't changed much since my desk tour. It may be a bit boring but it works for me and personally I like the simplicity of my desk. I don't like too much clutter on a desk, I don't know how you like your desk to be like whether you prefer it to be simple or have lots of things on your desk. I don't really know what else to see about my desk as it's nothing special really.  I can't wait to see your desk photos if you're taking part in the photo challenge.  Thank you for taking the time to view my blog and I'll be back tomorrow with another post. See you then.  Megan x *This is not a sponsored post* For business enquiries or just a chat email: megantimeblog@gmail.com

Day 10 Bedroom

Image
Apologies for the delay of Day ten and Day eleven not posting. I thought they were scheduled for when I went away to Manchester but turned out they were still in my drafts so today you get triple the fun of day ten, eleven and twelve of photos. This is day 10 which is my bedroom. My bedroom is a working progress as you can see under the window is all my scrapbooking supplies. I’m trying to think of something to put them in. I was thinking maybe some drawers but I’m not quite sure. For now they’re just stacked in boxes but they’re easy to get to. I quite like the layout of my bedroom because my bed is in the corner of the room and I have the tv on the end of my bed. I do my makeup on my desk so the natural light of the window is perfect for that. I also have my bookshelf next to my chair which you saw in day four's post. I also have a bedside table next to my bed and that is pretty much it for my bedroom. It’s small but I like it. It’s my little sanctuary. It’s probably the place I ...

Desk Tour

Image
As this week's theme has been all about blogging, I thought I'd share with you my workspace and where I write the majority of my blog posts on a weekly basis. Anyway without further ado let's begin the desk tour. Firstly, I'll give you an overview of my desk which is currently the tidiest it has ever been. Although I did tidy it especially for this post, this is how I like to keep it most of the time. The desk itself is one I bought years ago from Argos. I'm not entirely sure they sell it anymore but it was one of the simpler, cheaper desks and it works for me as I mainly use my desk for blogging and doing my makeup so it's the perfect size for me. It has no drawers or anything and plenty of space underneath it, although I'm not going to show underneath because it's a little chaotic with my makeup products and beauty supplies. Anyway, enjoy an overview of my desk and then I'll go through each part of it. The laptop that I use for everything including...

My Blogging Routine

Image
As someone who has been blogging for nine years, I've learned a thing or two about what works for me when it comes to sitting down and writing a post. That's why I thought I'd share my blogging routine with you that may inspire you to work on your own blog and get that routine.  Let's get started.  I feel like the one thing that motivates me to do some writing is a mug of coffee by my side. Coffee just makes me feel productive and I swear my body is made up mainly of coffee. It's fair to say I may have a slight coffee addiction. Either way it's something that puts me in the mood to blog.  Next, I will get my laptop and keyboard set up on my desk. I like to prop my laptop up on a stand so the screen is more to my eye level rather than me looking down all the time. I also like my desk to be quite minimal and simple as if it's too cluttered then it will distract me from what I want to do.  I have to have my trusted notebook beside me. This notebook is actually ...

What's On My Desk

Image
As I spend a lot of time on my desk, writing blog posts and trying to figure my life out, I thought why not share what's on my desk.  Below is an overview of my desk. The desk itself is just a simple black desk from Argos. It's lasted me a few years now but honestly, I love it because it may be small, I still have plenty of space especially when I'm writing and blogging. I absolutely love it. It's nothing fancy, it's very simple but that why I love it.  The main part of my desk is obviously my laptop. Looking at this photo I realised how dirty it is and the Hogwarts stickers have faded a lot on it so I should probably deal with that. Honestly though, I love this laptop. I've had it now for a few years and it has so much memory. You don't realise how big 1TB of memory is until you get a laptop with one. It's an Asus Vivo book and honestly, I love it. The inside definitely looks better than the outside because it's this nice gold coloured keyboard and ...

My Desk Space

Image
I thought why not give you a little glimpse at my desk space. Now I don't have a fancy huge desk and it's not the most Instagram worthy desk but it's simple and I like how I've set it up. I find I work well at my desk and it's my own space. It's where I work on my blog and write my novel. Whenever I sit here it's my own little work space. So here is a little photo tour of my desk space. So that's my desk. It's a very simple set up but I like it that way. I find desks don't need to be cluttered. Of course there's a few random trinkets but they make me smile like my Pig Popper which I find very stress relieving. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed a photo tour of my desk space. Thank you for reading my blog and I'll be back tomorrow with another post. See you then. Megan x  *This is not a sponsored post* For business enquiries or just a chat email: megantimeblog@gmail.com

My Desk Space

Image
I thought I'd share with you into a little glimpse into my desk space where I write my blog posts and it's where I'm starting to work on my assignments. I'm just going to say it's not the most organised but it's a working progress. Here we go.  This is above my desk where I just have some tissues, a clock, hole puncher, a note pad, a weekly planner and a whiteboard. I also have a mug where I just keep my pens, scissors, hairband and other random stuff. I have a little pot where I just keep some jewellery inside from when I went on holiday to Crete. I also have a tub of chewing gum as well. In this little jar I just keep some hair bobbles, clips and bobby pins inside. It's just so I have easy access to them and it looks kind of cute in the pot. I also have this little purse, make up bag thing from Zoella which has nothing in it. I don't have any use for it just yet so I just put it here and I thought it was cute as it ...
