I Have A Dream

Image
Now that I finally got my car, I want to do a bit more travelling. I would love to explore different parts of the UK. I felt quite inspired the other day after watching Mamma Mia Here We Go. I like how Donna just went off on her own and did her own thing. She didn't have a plan, she just knew where she wanted to go and figured it out when she got there. She even found love and ended up making a whole life for herself.  One day, I would love to take a trip on my own. Go abroad somewhere. A dream I do have, it might be a silly dream but it's my dream. I would love to take a trip to Paris. It's a city I've always wanted to visit. I would love to go on the Eurostar and stay in a hotel. Then as cheesy as it sounds, I'd want to do all the tourist things. Go up the Eiffel Tower and see attractions like Notre Dame, Arc De Triomphe, the Louvre. Even go on a bus tour around the city. I feel like Paris is one of those cities you could travel and explore on your own. It's d...

Day 4 Happiness

Image
The fourth photo of my photo challenge is happiness and this is my happiness. The one thing that always makes me really happy is my bookshelf. I'm making my way through reading my entire bookshelf but I just love seeing my books as they make me happy. I always love having time to sit down and read a book, especially when it's a good read and I'm able to get lost in a world.  My books are always something that makes me happy and it's hard for people that aren't big readers to understand but it's always a nice feeling to see them on display. I hope one day to create a little library in my own home and have a little reading nook. That's the dream. Even going into a bookshop brings me so much calm and makes me happy. Especially if I'm on my own and can just take my time browsing the books. Honestly, it's nice to have something to enjoy. Some like cars, I like books. It's a hobby that I love to have as it makes me happy. If it's not harming or cau...

A New Month

Image
I can't believe it's the beginning of a new month and we're now over halfway through the year. The first half of this year has kind of sucked but I have hope that the second half will be better. Things are slowly going back to normal (well as normal as they can be in these current times) and hopefully things will just get better overall. I'm hoping things will get better. I've been kind of lacking in self-care for myself and making sure I'm okay. I've been overthinking a lot of things and just generally being a little too lazy. This month though I plan to make some changes in looking after myself and preparing for the future. I'm hopeful that in September I will be moving and starting university again so that's exciting. They keep emailing me with important details and so I'm pretty sure that part of my life is still going ahead. Anyway, that's all I have to really say. I hope this month brings you joy. You truly deserve it. Thank you...

Five Adult Life Hacks

Image
It's a struggle being an adult and sometimes you never know what life is going to throw at you next. I am a twenty three year old and I still have not got life figured out yet. Although these little life hacks and have helped me get by so maybe they'll help you too. 1. Do whatever makes you happy Honestly, our own happiness matters so much and the best cause of action is that if something doesn't make you happy then it's time to get rid of it. Whether it's a friend that's making you happy or you're unhappy in your job or where you live. Then now is the time to change those things. Don't think about the consequences. Just think about what you can do to make the situation better whether that is getting rid of a friend that is constantly bringing you down or a job you are always dreading about everyday. These things can be change. Like Marie Kondo says "If it sparks joy, keep it. If it doesn't, thank it and get rid of it." Honestly if yo...

7 Things that makes me happy

Image
We all have things that make us happy. I know I do that's why I'm going to share with you guys all the things that makes me happy and these might make you happy too. 1. My family Without a doubt my family can always make me happy. They're always there for me and the thought of them makes me so happy. I do get homesick sometimes when I'm at uni. However, when I look at photos I have of my family and remember all the memories we have shared then I feel so much better.  2. My friends I do have friends which always manage to make me smile and when I'm hanging out with them, I feel happy. It's nice to be able to hang out and chat about things. Even if we've been apart for a while as soon as we're reunited, we can catchup and it'll be as if we were never apart. 3. Reading I love to read. If I'm not on my phone or laptop, I'll have a book in my hands. Sometimes I can spend hours being immersed in a book. Especially if the book...
