No Day But Today

Life is a precious gift and we should all live it the best we can as you never know which day is going to be your last. Especially in these unpredictable times. We should all be grateful that we're alive today and sure life may be a little shitty but at least we're still breathing. I've been listening to music and a song stuck out to me. It's called Finale B from the musical Rent and it's a beautiful song, I would recommend you give it a listen. There's a line which is "No day but today" which is a reminder to live each day as if it was your last. You never really know what tomorrow is going to bring for you or if you have your whole world turned upside down when you least expect it. Let's make the most of each day, even if it's staying inside. At least you're safe and also saving lives too. Just do things that make you happy. Write down all the things that make you happy that you can do in the space of your own home then do it. If you ...

Five Years

Image
This day is kind of special for me as on this day five years ago I created my first blog post. It doesn't feel like it has been five years and yet here we are. I started this little blog back in 2014 thinking it'll be something fun to do. I like to think I've improved since then but I know I make the odd mistake here and there from time to time. One thing I didn't think would ever happen is my blog would be viewed over 24,000 times. That's a lot of people. I also find it interesting when I look at my audience stats and see that people are viewing my blog not just from the UK but from the USA, Russia, Germany, France, Ukraine and so many more places. That is a little crazy to me that people from all over the world are taking a moment to view my blog. It means a lot to me because I do love to blog and a part of me wishes this was a full time job but unfortunately it's not. However, I do try my best to post regularly but if you've been reading my blo...

Perspective

Image
I was doing a lot of thinking recently and there has been a lot of changes and things happening around the world. Examples include the EU Referendum and killings and shootings going on in America as well as other things like that. It just kind of puts a lot of perspective about life when you hear stuff on news and you see all these protests and negative stuff going around about politicians and different cultures. It makes you think about your own life and how lucky some of us are to live the life we do. I feel lucky that our police force aren't so brutal and that we have laws against gun control. I mean I feel lucky you don't hear as much about shootings in the UK than in America and that we have tight laws on it, On a lighter side though it is things like that which put our lives in perspective and maybe even motivate us do something with our lives because as the saying goes 'Life is short' and you don't even know what it'll bring you the next day. Jus...

Pray for the World

Image
It's really sad when you hear terrible stuff happening on the news. I'm sending my hope and prayers to all the victims and the people that were affected by any of this. It's hard to imagine anybody could do something like this. It really is awful and nobody deserves anything like this. Especially innocent people. I just hope everything will be okay. However, on a lighter side it's great to see how much support the world can give to all these people. It just goes to show we can be united in a crisis. I do not own this image but just in case you didn't know what was going on.

Favorite place on earth

Image
Hey guys! We all have that one place on earth where we just feel happy when we're there. We all enjoy visiting that place wherever it may be. For me, I'm not gonna lie to you, it's my bed. I spend most of my time here, Sleeping, looking through social media, writing blog posts. I'm even sitting on my bed right now as I write this on my laptop. It's a special place to me because first off, it's mine. I sleep in this bed every night, nobody else but me. Some people may not find it comfortable, but I do because I'm used to it. It's the hardest goodbye for me when I have to leave my bed to go to school, but it's the first thing I sit on when I come home. It's why sometimes I get really really lazy on weekends. I'm comfortable and warm in my bed. I don't like leaving it, but I do eventually because I know I have to do something productive. So, yeah. My bed is my favorite place on earth and it won't stop being my favorite place on earth. ...
