Chapter Four

Image
Finally, March is over and now we are in April or are we? I'm just kidding, that was a little April Fool's joke for you. March was a pretty good month. I completed a whole month's worth of posts which was exciting. I'm pretty proud of what I achieved with that. It's helping me to reach my goal of 150 posts in 2024. Just 109 more posts to go after this post.  As you're currently reading this, I'm on my final day in Dublin and about to fly back. I couldn't tell you how my trip went because I'm writing this post before I've even gone away as I had to make these posts in advance for when I was away. I'm sure I had a pretty good time and be sure to look out for a Dublin photo journal that I will be posting sometime this week so get excited for that.  I can't quite believe we're four months into 2024. It feels like this year is going really fast and soon it will be the Summer time then Autumn will come along then before we know it Winter wi...

March Favourites

Image
I can't believe it's the final day of March and you know what that means. It's time for another post about what I've been loving this month. I'm going to be honest with you. This month has flown by and I feel like my list isn't that long because I didn't get much of a chance to enjoy many things because of things like work and packing for Ireland. However, I have managed to enjoy a couple of things this month so I'm going to share them with you now.  The Apprentice I've been loving this year's Apprentice so far. It's definitely different because the candidates don't seem to be completely useless and full of themselves like in previous series. I feel like every firing that has happened so far has been justified. I can't even put my finger on who my favourite to win is but my favourite candidate is Tre Lowe as he has done really well so far and I hope he gets far in the competition. I don't know if he'll win it but we shall have...

Travel Tips

Image
One thing I love to do is to travel to different places and this Friday I'm heading to Dublin which I'm very excited about as I've never been to Ireland before. This got me thinking about this week's theme can be all about travelling and what better to start than with a few travel tips that I'd thought I'd share with you as we're slowly heading to the seasons of travelling, I thought why not give you some tips to help you out if you're planning on travelling in 2024.  Let's get started. 1. Don't Overpack It's tempting to pack everything especially if you have the luggage allowance but at the same time, do you really need everything? It's really important not to overpack because one it's a heavier suitcase you have to drag along and another thing is most likely when you're away you're going to buy things while you're out there to take home with you and if you've overpacked before you've travelled there then you'...

What's In My Carry On

Image
As I'm going on a plane today heading to Ireland when you're reading this post, I thought I'd share what's in my carry on bag.  This is my carry on bag, it's just a mini backpack with a galaxy theme. I've had this bag for years now and I believe it was from Amazon. I love it because it has lots of pockets, plus a secret pocket at the back which is handy for valuables. Plus it can fit quite a bit in it which is handy because I have a lot of things I'm taking with me. Now for what's inside my bag. This is my iPhone 11 in a purple case I got from Amazon. I'm also aware that it's incredibly dirty and needs to be cleaned. Please don't judge me. I'm sure the screen you're reading this on isn't exactly clean. Either way, I can't go anywhere without my phone so I'm taking it with me to Ireland.  This is a recent buy that I got from Home Bargains and it's a travel organiser. I was actually after an organiser that I can keep for...

Packing Tips

Image
As it's coming up to the travel season where the Easter holidays are upon us and it will soon be Summer. Plus I'm going away this weekend to Dublin which I'm very excited about so I thought it would be a good idea to share some packing tips with you to help you with your packing needs. Let's get started. Make a list One of the best ways to get organised with your packing is to make a list. Sometimes just writing everything you need for your trip down will keep you on track and will also make you less likely to forget anything. Plus you can prioritise all your essentials for your trip. I like to split my list up into sections such as my suitcase and my carry on as well as my liquids. It just makes your packing so much easier when you make a list. Packing Cubes One of the things that makes packing so much easier is packing cubes. It minimises space in your suitcase but it also keeps your suitcase organised. Even when you reach your destination, it makes unpacking so much ...

Going To Dublin

Image
In two days time, I'll be on a plane flying to Dublin and I'm so excited for it. I've never been to Dublin before, let alone Ireland, so I'm really excited about it. This will probably be the shortest flight I've taken also because it's only fifty five minutes from Liverpool which is another first for me because I've never actually flown from Liverpool either. I'm actually amazed at how quickly it's come because I remember me and my mum booking it back in January, getting excited for it and now it's finally here. My suitcase is all packed and getting ready for the travel posts this week because I have a lot for you to help you get ready for travelling. I'm honestly so excited to go to Dublin for a number of reasons which are: Going on a bus tour I don't know why but I really love going on a bus tour around a new city. Especially when it's a hop on, hop off bus because it makes getting around the city easier but I also get to learn som...

A Letter To My Future Self

Image
This is a letter to myself in one year's time. At the moment your life is feeling very uncertain right now with everything that has recently happened. I hope that you manage to overcome that uncertainty and you came out of it with a more improved version of yourself.  Perhaps you've entered a new career change or maybe even developed some new skills in life. Maybe you've met the man of your dreams and are quite content in your relationship with him. You might have made the big move out of your mum's house or even managed to get yourself a car so you're driving around all over the place. Maybe you've met a new friend and are having coffee dates every week. You might have even gotten into fitness and are eating healthier.  Either way, I hope the future is a positive one and you might be struggling right now, but I hope in a year's time you can see how far you've come and you might even laugh at your overthinking thoughts. I know I'll be 28 in a year...
