November Favourites

Image
It's that time of the month again where I share everything I've been loving this month. I can't quite believe we're at the end of November and December is tomorrow. It's crazy how quickly this year has gone. Anyway, let's get started with my favourites for this month. Cluedo I've been obsessed with this game this month. I've been playing it on my phone but I also discovered it on Playstation and knew I had to get it. Even more exciting was getting the achievements on it which is always a bonus for me when it comes to video games. It's just self satisfaction for me to get as many Playstation trophies as I can. I love Cluedo although I've never actually played the board game. I've only ever played the mobile or Playstation version but it's just fun and every game is different obviously because the card choices are pretty random. I like playing it online because it makes it more interesting but the AI computers are alright as well even if th...

Catch Up

Image
I feel like it's been a while since I picked up my laptop and made a post. November just feels like it only began yesterday but already it's the 20th November and this is my second post in November. It's definitely been a chilled out month but I know I've got a busy few weeks coming up. I'm actually travelling down south tomorrow to visit family which I'm excited about as I haven't seen them in so long. Then the travelling doesn't stop because I'm going away the weekend after to Liverpool and Manchester which I'm excited about. I'm also looking forward to visiting the Christmas markets and getting in the festive mood. I've already completed my Christmas shopping which is nice. I feel like I've gotten some really good gifts this year and actually put a lot of thought into them which is a nice feeling. I'm definitely going to have a Christmas movie marathon and go all out with hot chocolate, festive treats and lots of good movies. I...

Chapter Eleven

Image
I feel like I say this at the start of every month but I can't believe how quickly October went. It felt like it was a complete blur and now we are in November. Just two more months left of 2024 which feels crazy to me cause I've done so much this year that this year has honestly been the best year for me. This month, I don't really have much planned. I actually finished my Christmas shopping a couple of days ago so I don't have any Christmas shopping to do this month which is great cause it means I can save a bit of money this month. I think I'm going to Manchester to enjoy the Christmas markets at the end of the month which I'm excited about. Plus I'm going to see the fireworks on bonfire night. Other than that, I don't really have much planned for this month. November is definitely a chill month for me especially when I've finished my christmas shopping at the end of October, it's usually a relaxing month for me. So yeah, I don't have anyt...

I'm going to be posting every single day in December so get excited because everyday you'll be getting a new post from me so be sure to check back everyday for an exciting post. I'm starting off with an oldie but goodie and sharing my November favourites which was a very exciting month for me so without further ado, let's get started.  1. Back To The Future the musical  Honestly, this was a highlight of November watching Back to the Future the musical in the West End. It's a really great musical that really does the movie justice. It had an amazing cast, great songs and special effects. I mean some of the effects I have no idea how they did it, that's how amazing it was. I started listening to the soundtrack as it's a great soundtrack with original songs. It was just an amazing experience and deserves the amazing reviews it has. I would highly recommend going to see it...

Things I'm Thankful For

Image
Happy Thanksgiving to all my American readers out there. Of course we don't celebrate it here in the UK as it's an American holiday but I thought I'd get in the spirit of things by listing all the things I'm thankful for.  1. My Family Of course my family means so much to me especially my mum as I live with her and she has been there for me since the day I was born. Of course I'm grateful to all my family and even though sometimes I don't speak to them on a weekly basis or see them much due to distance, they all mean so much to me and I wouldn't be the person I am without them. I love my family and I'm grateful to have them in my life. 2. My electronics This is definitely a modern age, first world thing but honestly I'd be a little lost without some of my electronics. My phone is always handy to have and my laptop is helping me to write and manage my own blog. I'm also thankful for my PS4 and television to be there during those times of boredom. ...

London

Image
A few months ago me and my mum decided to plan a trip to London and before we knew it, November had arrived. I was so excited because I haven't been to London since I was eight years old and even then we were there for one night so it was nice to enjoy two nights away in London. Our plan was pretty much to just be tourists. We did the London Eye when I was eight so we knew we weren't fussed on doing that.  I did have two goals in mind. One was to visit the Harry Potter studio tour and the other was to see a West End Show. I'm happy to say we achieved both of those goals. The studio tour was an incredible experience that I'm going to dedicate a whole post for as it was just amazing. In the West End we watched Back to the Future the Musical and honestly it was an incredible experience. We were in the Dress Circle in row L and it was a great view of the whole stage. It was a fantastic show from the cast to the music to the special effects. It really was amazing and would h...

I Heart Autumn

Image
For me when September arrives, it's the start of Autumn. I love Autumn for a number of reasons.  The weather is starting to cool down a bit more.  September is the start of the school year so it kind of feels like the time for new beginnings.  October is my birthday month and Halloween.  Autumn is the perfect excuse to have cosy movie nights and drink hot chocolate.  Plus November has bonfire night and the build up to Xmas.  I just love this time of year. I definitely prefer the colder months compared to the hotter months as it's so much easier to wrap up warm than it is to cool down.  So yeah, I really love Autumn and I'm so excited for these next few months as I have so much planned which I'm so excited about. I will definitely blog it all when it happens.  That's all I have to say about why I love Autumn. Thank you for reading my blog and I'll be back again soon with another post. See you then. Birmingham Haul

Image
The other day, me and my mum took a little day trip to Birmingham. We caught the train directly to Birmingham and decided to have a little shopping trip. It's always nice to go somewhere new and I'd only ever been to Birmingham city centre once before and that was for a Geography field trip in school.  I didn't really know what I wanted so I kind of just went with the flow of things and bought things that excited me. I thought I'd share them with you all right now in this post. Let's get started: One of the things I wanted was Christmas bedding. It's been a long time since I bought Christmas bedding and I don't know about you but I'm really excited about Christmas this year. I knew I would find my perfect Christmas bedding in Primark and I did. I wanted a dark blue bedding so when I saw this I knew it was perfect. I bought a Nutcracker decoration recently for my bedroom and so when I saw this bedding with the Nutcracker on it I knew it was the one. I can...
