My Skincare Routine

It has been a while since I have shared my skincare routine on this blog so I thought as I have switched it up a little bit, I may as well show you what I do to look after my skin.

1. Cleanser
I have really been loving the Simple Foaming Cleanser. I like how it foams when I rub it on my face and makes me think it's working it's magic. I just use it with some cold water as I usually put it on in the morning just to wake my face up.

2. Face mask
Now I don't use this everyday but when I feel like having a good pamper session I have been loving this Beauty Formulas Charcoal Clay Mask. It helps to cleanse the skin and clear out any dirt on my face. I also enjoy it when after ten minutes you can actually see all the little dots on my pores. I feel like it is working at cleansing and cleaning my face up.

3. Nose pore strips
Another thing I like to do after my face mask or when I think my pores need unclogging, I will use the T-Zone Charcoal Nose Pore Strips. After seven minutes when I peel it off, it makes me realise how gross my pores can get. I did not realise this was such an issue until I started working on my skincare routine.

4. Toner
I like using the Simple Soothing Facial Toner as I do have sensitive skin so my skin can react to harsh products. As Simple products are for sensitive skin, I really like using most of their products and the toner is definitely one I would recommend. It feels so soothing. I usually put it on after ten minutes of the previous step. I just use a cotton pad to apply it and will let the toner sink into my face for another ten minutes before moving onto my next step on my skincare routine.

5. Under eye cream
I have a bad case of dark circles under my eyes, although I have noticed a difference since using Superdrug's Brightening Eye Cream. I just add a small drop to my fingertip which I use under both my eyes. I feel like it really does brighten under my eyes and while it hasn't completely got rid of my dark circles, I have noticed a difference since using it.

6. Moisturiser
Usually after putting a few products on my face, it can easily get dried up. My favourite moisturiser has to be the Simple Protecting Light Moisturiser as it feels nice and light plus dries really quickly. Also this one has SPF 15 in it so it also protects my face from the sun which is good to know.

7. Body lotion
My final step is body lotion. I never used to see the point of body lotion until I noticed my skin felt a little dry recently so I decided to give it a try. I love this Aveeno Daily Moisturising Creamy Oil as it moisturises my skin really nicely and also dries pretty quickly which is a bonus. I like the pump on it too so I can control how much I use and not use too much. It also smells really nice.

Anyway, that's my skincare routine. I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know what your go to skincare products are in the comments below. I would love to hear your recommendations.

Thank you for reading and I will be back tomorrow with another post for you.

See you then.
