Travel Morning Routine

This is actually the morning after I came back from Cyprus. We ended up staying in a hotel in Birmingham and we were taking a three hour drive back to our home. Hence why this kind of works as a travel morning routine as I was travelling.
My morning started waking up to the news at 8am as I was sharing a room with my mum so she was already up watching the news.
I then knew I needed a refresher as I fell asleep late the night before as we got to the hotel at about midnight. The first thing I did was brush my teeth because my breath was stinking.
Now I forgot to remove my makeup last night so this morning I use my Simple cleansing wipes to clear up any makeup from my skin. I know makeup wipes are bad but luckily these are biodegradable and sometimes a wipe does the trick just as good.
Finally, I decided I needed some kind of moisturiser but didn’t really have any so I used my Superdrug Solait SPF face lotion as it kind of had that smell of being on holiday still but also SPF is good for your face even if you’re living in the UK.
I also felt like trying my new duty free purchase which was the Clinique Moisture Surge Intense 72h hydrator which felt really nice against the skin and I gotta say my skin felt very hydrated for the rest of the day.
I also had a coffee before we hit the road because the hotel breakfast was too pricey.
After getting dressed and closing my case we headed back to the airport.
We had to get a shuttle bus back to the car park and luckily as soon as we got there, our bus was there too so we were quickly on our way back to the car.
Before long we hit the road on our three hour drive home.
Finally, we made a cheeky stop at McDonald’s for breakfast as it was cheap and cheerful plus it broke up the driving a bit.

Anyway, that was my morning travelling as we eventually arrived home safely in the afternoon.

That’s all I have to say for now. Thank you for reading my blog and I’ll be back soon with another post.

See you then.
