No One Told You Life Was Gonna Be This Way

Today was a sad day. I thought today was going to be a relaxing Sunday after getting an extra hour in bed as the clocks went back. Yet I woke up to some sad news about Matthew Perry. 

Of course there've been many celebrity deaths this year but this one is especially sad for me because I enjoy Friends and Chandler was one of my favourite characters because of his wit, his sarcasm and just his loveable personality. I’m aware that there was a major struggle going on behind the scenes with his addictions but he managed to pull through and get his life back on track. Which is why it’s so incredibly sad to hear of his passing. 

It just goes to show that life is so unexpected and you can never really know what will happen which is why we all need to cherish each moment because you never fully know what’s going to happen. Count yourself lucky that the only thing you moan about is the weather because there are terrible things going on in the world like war, violence, addictions, mental health struggles and more. 

Nobody told us life was going to be this way and we should all be grateful for the life we have because you never know which day will be your last. My heart goes out to Matthew’s family and friends as this truly is a heartbreaking loss. Gone way too soon. Rest in peace Matthew Perry and thank you for giving us Chandler Bing.

30 Things To Do Before I'm 30

I thought I would do one of those posts where I talk about things I want to do in the future and why not do a 30 things I want do before I'm 30 so I have about nine years to achieve these thirty goals for myself. It's also something I could look back on when I am thirty years old to see if I actually have achieved any of these things. Hopefully I will but we'll have to wait and see in nine years time. 1. Chapter Two

The end of the longest month of the year to enter the shortest month of the year, except it's a leap year so instead of twenty eight days, we have twenty nine days. How exciting.  I've had an interesting first month of the year. I booked a once in a lifetime trip to Las Vegas and I'm also planning on booking a holiday to Ireland which is very exciting as I've never been to Ireland before. I think this year is going to be full of adventures so I'm looking forward to what this year will bring. It's getting me motivated to start living a healthier lifestyle though. Eating less and moving more.  I'm also still saving up on top of all the holidays, I hope to buy a car this year. I'm not sure what I'm planning on doing this February.
