Driving Test

Yesterday was a big deal for me because as you may have guessed from the title of this blog, it was my driving test and the result was…


I PASSED! FIRST TIME


I honestly couldn’t believe it because I did have a test booked way back in January but I was so nervous that I ended up not going through with it so I didn’t have a chance to pass or fail then which I was gutted at the time but glad I got in because I wasn’t prepared. Now though I was prepared and ready for it. 

I started my driving lessons on 1st July 2022 then I passed my theory test on the 9th August and now finally 418 days later, I passed my driving test. I’m honestly still in shock and can’t believe it. I still look at my certificate with my name and think, wow. I really did it. Only 6 minors in the end but it was all okay. 

I’m so happy and onto the next adventure of getting a car to actually start driving in. It’s honestly an amazing feeling and I’m only 26 so I may be late to the party but it’s better than nothing. Plus I don’t care what people think, I can legally drive on the road. Things are definitely looking up this year, it’s only onwards and upwards from here. 

Anyway, I thought I’d give you a little update as this is my blog and I’ve shared many life events here so I thought I’d share another big milestone in my life.

Planning for the future is probably one of the most scariest things. Especially when you have an end goal but have no idea how to achieve that goal. 30 Things To Do Before I'm 30

I thought I would do one of those posts where I talk about things I want to do in the future and why not do a 30 things I want do before I'm 30 so I have about nine years to achieve these thirty goals for myself. It's also something I could look back on when I am thirty years old to see if I actually have achieved any of these things. Hopefully I will but we'll have to wait and see in nine years time. 1. Get my degree Now this is probably an obvious one as I'm in my third year of university but honestly after two years of doing university it would be nice if next year I could have a degree. Chapter Two

The end of the longest month of the year to enter the shortest month of the year, except it's a leap year so instead of twenty eight days, we have twenty nine days. How exciting.  I've had an interesting first month of the year. I booked a once in a lifetime trip to Las Vegas and I'm also planning on booking a holiday to Ireland which is very exciting as I've never been to Ireland before. I think this year is going to be full of adventures so I'm looking forward to what this year will bring. It's getting me motivated to start living a healthier lifestyle though. Eating less and moving more.  I'm also still saving up on top of all the holidays, I hope to buy a car this year. I'm not sure what I'm planning on doing this February.
