My Last Day

Image
Today is my last shift in work. I'm kind of sad but also excited for the future. I've been working there for over a year and I've learned so much from the experience. I've laughed. I've cried. I've gotten stressed. I've had some good times and met so many amazing people. The reason it's my last day is because I wanted to have Christmas and New Year off but next year I'm planning on moving out of my mum's house. I'm moving about three hours away and I want to get into a job related to my degree. I'm nervous but also excited for what the future has to hold for me. So yeah I thought I'd make this little post to share with you guys a little life update. I had a great time last night at my works Christmas party because it was a last chance to see everyone but tonight I have my last shift and then I'll be finished. So yeah, that's all I have to really say about it. I'll be back again tomorrow with another Blogmas post...

Last Day Of August

Image
Can you believe that it's the last day of August and tomorrow is September? Summer just feels like its been and gone. I think when you work all the time it feels like everyday just goes by in a flash and you forget what day it is. Then all of a sudden it's the end of August which for me means the end of Summer. I've always found that when September arrives it's the start of Autumn which is my favourite season. I love Autumn for many different reasons like my birthday, Halloween, bonfire night. I also like the fact that September is like the start of something new for a lot of people because of school and university. I always find September a time to make some changes and get a fresh new start. It's a reminder that the year is not over yet. So yeah, I feel like I haven't done a lot this summer. I've just been working and I did go to a festival for August Bank Holiday. Although I do have 8 days off work right now so I'm going to use this time to mak...

Last Post Of 2016

Image
I know I said yesterday that I wasn't going to post anymore in 2016 but I was just sitting on the sofa thinking a lot about this year and all the things I've done. I didn't actually realise it until I was sitting home alone that I have done a lot which have sort of helped me and given me more room to love myself. Since being at university I have learned to be more independent and do things for myself. I've learned to cook meals, do laundry, keep my bedroom and do my own grocery shopping. Before going to university I never used to do most of these things and now I can do them with no questions asked. I've also grown a lot with independence because I've done things which I never thought I'd do alone. I actually planned day trips for myself. Now I know you're thinking why did I do these things alone but honestly I didn't mind and I didn't know if any of my friends wanted to go with me so I just decided to go alone and save the hassle. It al...

Last post of 2014

Image
Hey guys! So today is officially the last day of 2014. This year has gone quick, but then again every year always seems to go quick when you reach December 31st.  For starters, this blog came to exist on on the 16th May 2014. I know I haven't made many posts during the year, but I promise you that in 2015. I will post more regularly with one or two posts a week. Another thing, my Saturdays stopped being a lazy day when I had to volunteer at a charity shop. It was an amazing experience and the people were so nice. Next, I did my AS levels and did well in them. I also did loads of artwork which I'm proud of and never thought I could do. I can't wait to do more in 2015.  I got to celebrate my little brother's second birthday which was nice.  I also broke my left arm over the summer and I had to have surgery which was very annoying. I also celebrated my 18th birthday which was great. Then I got to go to New York...
