Autumn Bucket List

Image
I love this time of year during Autumn and for those of you who want to say, it's not Autumn yet. To me it is. I always feel like September, October and November are the Autumn months and it definitely feels like it. I thought I'd share all the things I want to do in the next three months in a bucket list and hopefully be able to cross them off as the months go.  Let's get started. Go for an Autumn walk I want to go for a walk where the leaves have fallen and crunch under my shoes. I want to be able to pick up some conkers and just enjoy the Autumn weather. Bundle up in a jumper and a coat. Just enjoy seeing the colour changing leaves on the trees and just enjoy nature. Maybe even take a hot flask with me and enjoy some hot chocolate while I walk. I'd love to do that a lot this month to go for an Autumn walk.  Go to a concert I mean technically I'm already doing this as I'm going to see McFly VS Busted this month but I thought I may as well add it onto my bucket...

Packing Tips

Image
As it's coming up to the travel season where the Easter holidays are upon us and it will soon be Summer. Plus I'm going away this weekend to Dublin which I'm very excited about so I thought it would be a good idea to share some packing tips with you to help you with your packing needs. Let's get started. Make a list One of the best ways to get organised with your packing is to make a list. Sometimes just writing everything you need for your trip down will keep you on track and will also make you less likely to forget anything. Plus you can prioritise all your essentials for your trip. I like to split my list up into sections such as my suitcase and my carry on as well as my liquids. It just makes your packing so much easier when you make a list. Packing Cubes One of the things that makes packing so much easier is packing cubes. It minimises space in your suitcase but it also keeps your suitcase organised. Even when you reach your destination, it makes unpacking so much ...

My Reading List

Image
Something I've been doing a lot recently is reading books and I thought I'd share my reading plans with you all as I have four books on my reading list and one book that I'm currently reading. I've been really enjoying reading this past couple of months and I'm excited to share with you the books on my reading list.  Let's get started! Surprise Me By Sophie Kinsella This is a book that I started reading previously while I was on holiday one year but I didn't really get into much so I put it down and never got back to reading then I ended up donating it instead. It wasn't until I came across this book in a charity shop for £2 that I thought I'd give it another chance. Honestly, I've been enjoying it so far because it's about a husband and wife who discover they are going to be married for the next sixty years of their life and suddenly that scares them. I know for many that might be a nice thought but for this couple, their marriage seems to h...

My Packing Tips (How Not To Overpack)

Image
As it is the summer and most likely a lot of you are planning on going abroad or going on a little staycation. I don't know about you but the temptation to pack everything just in case you may need it is real. However, that can cause you to overpack and a lot of the time you need to have luggage weight restrictions especially on a plane and the last thing you want to do is pay for an excess baggage charge. Plus when it comes to your luggage, you're the one who's going to be pulling it around and I bet most of you would rather it was as light as it can be.  I thought I'd share my packing tips on how not to overpack when you're going abroad. 1. Make a list Honestly, I live by lists and especially when it comes to packing. I make lists way in advance so that when the time comes to pack my suitcase. I can check everything off the list. Plus I'm a very forgetful person and I feel like if I don't write it down I will forget it. I also split my list up into categor...

Packing For The Holidays

Image
One of the most stressful things about Christmas is travelling to see friends and family to give them their gifts. If you're someone who can drive then I'm sure it's way easier for you, but if you're someone like me who can't drive yet then you have to take public transport which makes packing presents even more stressful when you have to carry them all. Here are a few of my tips to make packing just a little bit easier when doing it over the holidays. 1. Keep it light It can be ever so tempting to take your big suitcase with you and fill it with the Christmas presents you bought. However, that means your case is going to be heavier to drag around and you may end up packing more than you actually need. One big tip is taking a carry-on suitcase, therefore it means you can only pack the essentials plus you'll still be able to fit the Christmas presents in. Keeping it light means you'll have less to carry with you and you'll only pack what you need. If you...

How Do I Plan My Blog Posts

Image
As I've been posting every day in May, it may surprise that most of these posts were written in March and April which is because I was way ahead in schedule. In the beginning of this month I gave you a list of my blogging tips, but I thought now that we are halfway through this month that I would share with you how I plan my blog posts and keep ahead of schedule. 1. Trusted Notebook I'm very old school and always like to have a physical notebook dedicated to my blog. I used to prefer A5 notebooks, but I've grown to love an A4 notebook. In this notebook, I keep a list of all the blogs posts I've made so far. Also as you can see, I pre planned all the posts I was going to make for May and writing them down in order. I highlighted all the ones I currently completed just to stay on track on what posts have been completed. This helped me out so I could easily refer back to it on what posts I need to write up. I also use this notebook to actually write posts down because some...

I did bring a lot of stuff which I didn't end up using so I thought I'd share with you my own university packing list which will hopefully help some of you guys out when it comes time to start packing. 1. Important documents Of course when you're moving away from home it's important to have the important documents with you. I would highly recommend getting a box file to put these documents in so that you know where they are and you can easily find them. University acceptance letter Accommodation details Student finance details National Insurance Number/Card Passport/Licence (You need some form of I....

Whether that's your entire home or your bedroom. It's better than nothing. So here are my tips to start the perfect spring clean. 1. Make your bed up I always find the first place to start any cleaning is to make your bed. When your bed is made then it's the first step to a tidy bedroom. It's also the perfect time to change your bedding. It does make sense that if you're tidying your bedroom and have fresh bedding. It always feels great at the end of the day to get into bed and have fresh bedding. It feels great. 2. Do some laundry Gather any clothes on the floor or in the laundry basket. Do a bit of laundry. Packing For One Night

Image
As today I'm going to Cardiff for one night. I thought I'd share with you what to pack for one night away. I just thought it would be helpful as Summer is the time where many go away and due to work, it's only for one night. So I'm going to share with you my tips and what I'm packing for one night in Cardiff. 1. Make a list  I love making lists and when it comes to packing. There's no doubt about it. I'll make a list. Just think of all the things you're gonna use on a daily basis when it comes to toiletries or makeup or clothing. Just write them down. When it comes to the miscellaneous items such as a laptop or a games console. Try to think are you really going to use it. As much as I love my laptop. I'm not gonna take it because I'm only staying there one night and I'd rather do things outside of the hotel room than be on my laptop on my one night away. So yeah try to think about what you're going to be doing when you go away and pa...
