Is it too early for Christmas?

The month of November is a weird month. Halloween has just finished and now Christmas is the next big event in the calendar for a lot of people. I know there's also other celebrations in parts of the world that come next. Like for the UK today it's Bonfire Night where we celebrate a man who tried to blow up Parliament with fireworks. Of course, for many it's just going to watch a firework display and less about the history of the day. In fact I'm going to a firework display in my home town tonight. Another celebration that comes before Christmas from our friends across the pond is Thanksgiving. I'm sure there are other celebrations that may come before Christmas in other countries but those are the only two I can think of off the top of my head.  Yet it begs the question, is it too early to think about Christmas? We've finally arrived at the penultimate month of the year. Only two more months left of 2025 and it's been a very unexpected year for me.  I got my first car and I unexpectedly fell in love this year. Kind of surprising for me as these were two of the most unexpected things to happen to me and yet they did this year. It's a nice surprise to say the least.  This month though, I don't really have much going on. Of course there's bonfire night and I'm planning on seeing some fireworks in the town. Another thing that is happening is I'm going to Manchester next weekend to do a bit of shopping and see my brother. Other than that, not a lot else is going on. Although I'm planning on seeing my boyfriend and we're quite a spontaneous couple where we sometimes come up with spontaneous ideas and do it. Last weekend, I went shopping in Swansea with him.
