Things I Wish I Knew Before Blogging

Image
I've been blogging for ten years now and it's been going great but had I known some things early on maybe I would have grown more early on. Although, that's a part of the blogging journey. Sometimes you make mistakes or discover something new that you didn't know before. It's a learning curve but one day you'll find your groove and get to where you want to go with your blog. I thought I'd help any new bloggers out there by sharing five things I wish I knew about my blog.  1. Have an idea of what kind of posts you want to do When I first started blogging, I had no idea what kind of posts I was going to do. I just did spontaneous posts as they came and hoped for the best. One thing I would recommend is before you go live with your blog, have a few posts ready to go so that you can publish them once a week to get you started. This gives you an idea of what kind of posts you want to write but also gets you used to writing posts. Plus having a few posts ready to ...

Making Little Changes

Image
Everyone has goals in life whether it's being healthier, being richer, being more sociable or trying something new. Whatever the goals are, make sure that they're for you and nobody else. As long as they'll make you happier and be a more positive version of yourself then that's okay. Sometimes achieving our goals requires us to make a few little changes in life to get us one step closer to our goals. Here are a few little changes I've made recently and I've already started seeing the benefits of doing these little changes.  Let's get started. Journaling I always had an on and off again relationship with journaling. Sometimes I'll really commit to it then other times I'll just completely forget about it. Recently I've started to journal a lot more. Particularly in the mornings when I wake up but sometimes in the evening when I have a lot of feelings that have built up in the day and I just need to let them out. Journaling really helps me with that...

Red Flags

Image
As someone who has experienced online dating and never officially having a boyfriend, I'd say I've picked up on a few red flags when it comes to dating which will be useful to anyone currently dating someone and unsure as to whether they want to make the relationship serious or not. This is just based on my own experience and every relationship is different, but these are just a few little red flags you may want to keep an eye on, just in case.  1. They don't message that often One of the biggest dating/relationship problems is communication. I'm going to admit in the beginning it's like the honeymoon stage where you're messaging each other constantly and can't get enough of it. The phase will soon die down and sometimes it may be either for a good reason or a bad reason. Honestly, if someone was really into you but life hit them in the face with a busy work schedule, they will message you to say they're busy and if they do that means they care because t...

Happiness

Image
What does happiness mean to me? Sometimes something so simple as being happy can be the most difficult thing to do. It's so easy to smile and pretend to be happy. However, on the inside the mind tells a different story. I'm a bit of an over thinker especially in social situations because I'm worried I'm going to say or do the wrong thing which could have a bad impact on the situation. I'm a bit of a worrier too because I'm worried about a lot of things and that people will judge me. Yet I don't know why things like this should bother me. At the end of the day we're all human and everyone makes mistakes. We all have good days and bad days. Sometimes it's one of those days. So who really cares? Back to the topic at hand. Happiness. I could sit here and write a list of things to make you happy but I would be wrong. We all experience happiness in our own little ways. Whether it's the little things of the big things. We all have things th...

Where have I been?

Image
You may or may not have noticed that I haven't posted for a week. That's because this week has been a busy one. I've actually been socialising with my friends. I've felt so loved and so happy this week. The funny thing was I never realised I was this much loved and cared about. It's crazy but also the best feeling in the world when you find out you're loved and cared about. If you're wondering what I've been doing. Well, I've been going out on nights out a few times this week. As I mentioned in my previous post last week about going out unexpectedly on the Friday. I ended up going out again with the same friends on Saturday too. I felt so happy because I actually felt included and honestly this week has been the best week of my life. I even went out with my friends on Tuesday and yesterday as well. It felt so nice because they were just such good nights because we all had a laugh and loads of photos were taken. It was just perfect. Another re...
