Not Feeling Christmas

Image
I don’t know about you, but December seems to be flying by so fast. Christmas is this Wednesday and I don’t know why but I’ve never felt less Christmassy in my life. I haven’t even watched a Christmas film yet or listened to much Christmas music. I changed my bedding and put the tree up. Plus I’m looking forward to Christmas Day. I think because I bought all my presents in November that I haven’t been feeling the Christmas spirit. I’m hoping these next few days will change that because I do love this time of year. I think I just need to have a Christmas movie marathon, drink hot chocolate and have mince pies then I’ll get into the Christmas spirit.  I’m wondering if anyone else is feeling like this, where this year in particular, it’s a struggle to get excited for Christmas. Let me know if you have any tips to get into the Christmas spirit because I really want to get into it. Anyway, thank you for taking the time to read my blog and I’ll be back soon with another post. See you the...

University Packing List

Image
It is September so I'm sure a lot of you are getting ready to go to university for the first time and are unsure as to what you actually need to pack. It's so tempting to just bring your entire bedroom or something just in case you might need it but in reality you probably will not touch it for an entire year. As I have been in university for two years now. I thought I'd give you a guys a list of what you should definetly bring to university. 1. Important Documents There are a few important documents that you do not want to forget before going to university. Don't forget your passport and some other form of ID because you may need some ID before getting university and also you will need ID if you are planning on drinking. Don't forget any important letters you've had from the university before you've arrived (including your acceptance letter) because you may need those and it's best to keep them all together. Take your student loan forms as we...

My Uni Essentials

Image
Hey guys! So as you know, I'm going off to university on September 27th and that's in 15 days. That why I thought I would make a post of all the essentials I think you should take to uni if you're living away from home. Kitchen stuf f -  As you're living away from home you're going to need to cook for yourself and so you'll need some kitchen stuff. Things like pots and pans, cutlery, plates, bowls, tea towels, spatula, spoon, colander (for pasta and rice). Also take a basic grocery shop before you go so that you don't have to worry about grocery shopping during Freshers week. Bedding - You're going to be needing to take a duvet, pillows, covers and blankets with you as uni's don't provide you with them. I suggest bring spare covers with you so you can wash the other. Toiletries -  Even though they'll be shops where you live to buy toiletries, it's better to stock up before you go rather than buying it with your student fina...

University Haul + Tips

Image
Hey guys! So as I've said in some of my posts before. I'm hopefully going to university in September (it all depends on my results on August 13) but I've been buying stuff recently for university just in case because I don't want to wait for after results and rushing around buying stuff at the last minute of things I'll need. I also thought I'd make this post for ideas for some of you that may be going to university. I also recommend watching YouTube videos of University hauls and room tours so you get an idea of how big the rooms might be and what you'll need to bring. Some people to have some helpful tips. I do have one big tip for any of you going to Uni and that is not to over pack. Trust me. Your room will probably be small and there may not be any space for you to keep things. So in September when you're packing the contents of your room, ask yourself if you're holding loads of DVDs. 'Do I really need this?' 'Will I have tim...
