Things That Make Me Happy

I thought I'd share five things that make me happy because it's good to have things in your life that make you happy and these are mine. Let's get started.  Driving My Own Car I honestly love driving my car. It's a great feeling just being able to get in my car and go anywhere. I love listening to music in my car because when I drive, I'm singing along and it's a great feeling. It's therapeutic. When I first got my car, it made me nervous but as long as you know what you're doing and go at your pace. Plus remain focused then you'll be fine. It gives you so much freedom and independence when you drive and honestly, I don't know what I did before I had my own car.  Playing a video game I don't know why but getting invested in a good video game is something that really makes me happy. Going For A Walk

On Easter Sunday, I woke up early and instead of being lazy I decided to go for a walk. I got dressed and got in my car to drive to town. I knew it would be quiet as it was early Sunday morning so not many people would be out. It was lovely, I parked up in a pretty much empty car park and decided to walk on the promenade. It was so quiet and so nice. It was also so refreshing. I’ve been feeling a bit down recently but going on this walk, listening to music was honestly so good for my mood. It didn’t matter that I was on my own. I just walked, listening to my music and it felt so good. They say going for a walk improves your mental health and honestly it does. Especially when you put on your headphones and listen to your favourite songs. In a weird way you feel like you’re in a musical and I have to stop myself from bursting out singing. Happy Easter

Wishing you all a very Happy Easter whether you celebrate it or it's just another Sunday for you. At least it's the bank holiday weekend. I feel quite blessed because I'm not back in work until Wednesday so I'm making the most of it. I've bought my own Easter egg to enjoy for the day, although I did start eating some of it on Friday.  I'm spending time with my family today, not doing a lot but just relaxing. Might go for a walk later to get some fresh air but other than that. Nothing much else is going on today for me.  However you're spending the day, I hope it's a good one and I wish you all the best.
