What's In My Makeup Bag 2018
As makeup has become a part of my weekly if not daily basis and I have been sstoring my everyday makeup in a makeup bag I thought why not just show you lovely people what's in my makeup bag because who doesn't love having a nose in other people's things. It's a guilty pleasure and curiousity that all of us share.
Above is my makeup bag which I got for Christmas so I'm not sure where it's from but I think's Primark. However, you can get makeup bags of a similiar style from anywhere really. This is actually a decent size makeup bag and fits all my favourites which I use on a daily basis but it's also the perfect size for travelling if I want to take a bit extra. Plus it looks very cute which is always a bonus.
Now for the contents which is no particular order. I just picked the makeup out so this may be in a random order but who doesn't love the randomness.
Now I thought I'd start of with the biggest things in my make up which are my two Makeup Revolution Eyeshadow Palettes. Now I thought I'd talk about both of these here because they are both by the same brand. The first one with all the triangle shaped eyeshadow shades is an exlusive one called the Revohollic Palette and it is from the Makeup Revolution Beauty Advent Calendar and this was the last product on day 25. Needless to say the day I got this I have been loving it. It has nude shades which I absolutely love but it also has glittery shades as well so it is perfect for everyday wear but also for those days where you're feeling fancy with eyeshadow and want to make your eyes sparkle. The second palette is called Girl Panic and again I really like this palette because it has nude shades as well as some glittery shades so it's perfect for any occasion. I would highly recommend getting these palettes and they are perfect for travel.
Now here is another Makeup Revolution product (there's kind of a theme here isn't there) and this is the Renaissance Day Paltte and this is a really great little eye shadow palette to travel with because it has all the nude shades you want and a little brush as well. It's perfect for suttle but elegant make up. The pgmentation is also really great. This is my favourite nude shade palette that I've tried and would recommend if you love a nude eye look.
I've talked about this eyeshadow duo before but it is the Natural Collection duo eyeshadow in the shade Mocha/Latte. Honestly this is such an affordable eye shadow duo and the pigmentation is really good quality as well. As you can tell from this post so far that I do like my nude shades so this is just really great. It's perfect for school, uni or even work and you can carry it anywhere with you.
Onto eyebrows now and this is the Makeup Revolution Focus & Fix Eyebrow Shaping Kit in the shade Light/Medium. I know I've mentioned Makeup Revolution a lot in this post and this is not a sponsored post but I just really love their products. They are so affordable and such good quality too it's a really great brand. As you can tell from the picture this is a well used eyebrow product because I've hit pan. It's the perfect shade if you have dark blondish eyebrows and your eyebrows do look good afterwards.
Another eyebrow product which I love is the Freedom Duo Brow Powder in the shade blonde. This is a great brow product because it has good pigmentation but it's not too much if you know what I mean. It's a suttle brow and perfect if you're new to doing your eyebrows. I don't like overdoing my brows so I really like this product as it's not too much but it's an improvement to your brows. Personally I'm someone who prefers powder for my eyebrows over anything else.
A singule eyeshadow I have in my makeup bag is the No7 StayPerfect Eye Shadow in the shade truffle. It's a really nice nude shade and it looks good on it's own. Again if you're someone who likes your nudes then give this product a try. It's a little bit shimmery but it's not too much shimmer so it'll look good for everyday use as well as for a more glamourous look.
Onto my favourite powder, this is the Collection Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Powder in the shade Medium. I really like this powder because it sets my concealer and foundation. It also comes with a little mirror and sponge so it's great for travelling too. You can't really go wrong with powders, I just really like this one.
Onto blush now and this is the Miss Sporty InstaGlow Blusher in the shade luminious beige and I absolutely love this blush. It's a really suttle blush and looks very natural. It has a bit of shimmer in it but it's not that obvious. It just gives a nice glow to the cheeks and I would recommend to anyone looking for a suttle blush on their cheeks.
For highlighter I like using the MUA Undress Your Skin Shimmer Highlighter in the shade Pink Shimmer. Again this a really suttle so it's perfect for everyday wear and works well with blusher. It comes out really nicely on the skin so if you're looking for a suttle highlighter then I'd recommend this.
By far the best mascara ever is the Maybelline Lash Sensational Lash Multiplying Mascara and this is the waterproof version but it is really great. It doesn't smudge and it makes your lashes look amazing. You can have really suttle lashes or you can go all out with this mascara to make them look like fake lashes. This mascara is perfect for whatever you're in the mood for with your lashes and for any occasion. Definitely check it out.
Back to eyebrows now and to set my eyebrows after putting powder on them is with an eyebrow gel. This is Barry M's Take A Brow Shape & Define Brow Gel in a clear shade (it was a clear shade but I've used it so much that it changed colour). This is perfect for setting your brows and it keeps their shape longer in my opinion. It also dries really quickly so you don't have to worry about your brows smudging.
This is another product from the Makeup Revolution Beauty Advent Calendar and it is an eye primer. I'm going to be honest I don't use eye primer a lot but when I did use this I had no complaints. It worked well and made my eyeshadow a little smoother. I don't really have a lot to say about eye primer but yeah. If you like eye primer then go for it.
I don't use a lot of eyeliner but when I do use it I like to put it on my waterline. This is the Maybelline Crayon Khol in black and it's perfect for your waterline so if you're someone who likes putting pencil eyeliner on your waterline then give this a try. I do like this eyeliner product and it's the only one I use.
If you're looking for a good concealer for under your eyes then I would highly recommend this one. It's Collection's Illuminating Touch Brightening Concealer in the shade Naked 1. It really works wonders for dark circles. You can use it by itself with a bit of powder to set it or for an extra touch then you can put another concealer above it and your under eye dark circles will be covered.
Now I know I have two of the same concealers but you can never have enough concealer in my opinion. I really like the Miss Sporty Perfect Stay Liquid Concealer in the shade Light. It's a really good concealer and works just as well as the Lasting Perfection Concealers (which is the next product). Would highly recommend.
Now, you don't need me to tell you how good the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer is because every other beauty guru in the blogging and YouTube community will tell you how good it is and they are not wrong. This is probably my most used product ever so if you have not yet tried this concealer then you really need to. It's the best.
Onto a primer now which like with the eye primer I don't use a lot or I'll use it for special occasions where I want my make up to last a while. This is the Collection Primed & Ready primer and it feels good on my face and when I have put it on my makeup has lasted a while. It's also a really affordable primer so definitly try it out if you can.
The final product in my makeup is a lip product and it is Rimmel's Lasting Finsih by Kate lipstick in the shade 03 and this is a really nice nude shade. It's moisturising and dries really quickly. It's perfect for any occasion so if you like wearing nude lipsticks then give this a try.
Anyway, that is everything in my makeup bag. I hope you enjoyed this post and it gave you some ideas on what to get makeup wise if you want some new products. Let me know what your is your favourite product in your makeup bag in the comments below.
I'll be back again soon with another post so I'll see you then.
Bye!
