April Fool's Day

This is a little reminder to you that today is April Fool's Day so try not to believe everything you read. Except this post because it is April Fool's Day (or is it?).

Either way, this day is a day that comes every year (obviously) and sometimes you may find yourself forgetting all about it. Mainly because you feel like March went on forever then bam all of a sudden, it's the beginning of April and everyone is making announcements over random things. I remember one year I completely forgot it was April Fool's Day and McDonald's made a post about milkshake sauces, now I worked in McDonald's at the time, and I just thought great other sauces we now have to worry about giving customers. It was only when scrolling through more ridiculous advertisements that I realised it was obviously not real but for a tiny moment I thought it was real because I know there are some people out there that dip their fries into their milkshakes (no judgement from me) but it was something I genuinely believed McDonald's might do. 

Just be cautious when you're online about what people say or better yet just stay offline all together. Also, it's fair enough to make a joke or a fake announcement but just be very mindful of other people. For example, one of the worst April Fool's Day jokes anyone could make is a joke about being fake pregnant. Nobody is laughing really, and it might cause upset to some people. So, just be aware if you do make a fake announcement that it is just a bit of fun and if you think it might cause upset then my advice just don't post anything at all. It's all fun and games to make jokes but not at the expense of someone else. 

Anyway, have fun and make people laugh because the world needs a bit of laughter. Plus you can always laugh at yourself if you have too. Embrace the day and try not to believe everything you hear no matter how convincing or believable it may be.

Planning for the future is probably one of the most scariest things. Especially when you have an end goal but have no idea how to achieve that goal. 30 Things To Do Before I'm 30

I thought I would do one of those posts where I talk about things I want to do in the future and why not do a 30 things I want do before I'm 30 so I have about nine years to achieve these thirty goals for myself. It's also something I could look back on when I am thirty years old to see if I actually have achieved any of these things. Hopefully I will but we'll have to wait and see in nine years time. 1. Chapter Two

The end of the longest month of the year to enter the shortest month of the year, except it's a leap year so instead of twenty eight days, we have twenty nine days. How exciting.  I've had an interesting first month of the year. I booked a once in a lifetime trip to Las Vegas and I'm also planning on booking a holiday to Ireland which is very exciting as I've never been to Ireland before. I think this year is going to be full of adventures so I'm looking forward to what this year will bring. It's getting me motivated to start living a healthier lifestyle though. Eating less and moving more.  I'm also still saving up on top of all the holidays, I hope to buy a car this year. I'm not sure what I'm planning on doing this February.
