It's kind of surreal for me that this year, I'll be turning thirty. It makes me wonder where my twenties have gone. I have three months left of being twenty nine as my birthday is in October. It's kind of crazy because I remember back in 2017 when I was twenty one I wrote a list of thirty things to do before I'm thirty and shared it on this blog. I'll leave a link at the end of this post if you want to read the full list.
I decided to take a look back at that post and I realised I've completed eighteen things which means I only have twelve more to complete in less than three months. Here is the list.
1. Go To New York (again)
2. Move into my own place
3. Get a job related my degree
4. Master 10 Delicious Food Dishes
5. Having a regular exercise routine and keeping fit
6. Go skinny dipping
7. Throw a dinner party
8. Go to a midnight showing of a movie in the cinema
9. Go to a big music festival like Glastonbury
10. Visit Australia
11. Go to Paris and do all the touristy things
12. Read one book every week
Now some of these may be fairly achievable in the next three months like creating a new fitness routine or mastering ten dishes but some like going to New York or Australia may be slightly harder to achieve due to money constraints. I knew when I made this list I may not achieve them all and just think after I turn thirty I can create a new list of everything I want to do before I'm forty. I do hope to achieve it so that I've at least ten or less left on the bucket list by the time I'm thirty which would definitely feel like an achievement.
Let me know if you have a current bucket list going on. I'd love to hear about them in the comments below. Maybe we can encourage each other to keep going. After all, it is a bit of a nice motivation to have a bucket list because when you come nearing the end result and see how much you've completed, you can feel quite proud of yourself. I didn't fully realise how much I had achieved until I looked back at the list so I do feel proud of myself.
Anyway, that's all I have to say for now.
Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and I'll be back again soon with another post.
See you then.
