A Very Random Haul

I was in town the other day as I was waiting for my mum while she was at the dentist. I ended up picking up a few bits while I was there. They were so random that I felt like sharing them with you now. I honestly can't even remember the last time I did a haul post. Do people still do haul posts? I don't know but I thought it would be fun to share what I got so let's get started.
I've been wanting to read Pride and Prejudice for a while now, especially after last month where I watched both the TV series and movie. I have actually read it once before but I really fancied a classic copy for a while. I came across this in an Oxfam bookshop and it was only £2.99 which is honestly a bargain. Honestly, if you're looking for classic books. Always try charity shops first because sometimes you can find hidden treasures there. I'm so excited to get around to reading this. Although it means adding it to my to be read pile but I can't wait to start reading this.
Yeah I bought another book. I saw this in the Works and as you can tell it was only £5 which again is a bargain. It's by Lisa Jewell who is an author I'm starting to love and I was hooked by the blurb at the back. Plus on the front too. It was offering the sequel to the book The Family Remains but I thought I'd get this one first and potentially buy the sequel after reading this. I knew three books in one day might be a little too much.
This is very random as I've never cross stitched in my life and I actually got this for a whole different purpose. I'm currently working through my Wreck This Journal and one of the prompts is sewing a page with colourful thread. As this contains a needle and thread, I thought it was perfect. Plus for £1.50, you can't really go wrong. Potentially I may attempt to do the cross stitching but we shall see. I just like the fact it has a few colourful threads to choose from.
I've become obsessed with buying paint as I've been using it for my wreck this journal but also I just love painting. It's definitely a hobby I've been loving a lot recently and finding very therapeutic. Plus having a bigger bottle of paint means I can go a little wild and also won't run out so easily compared to those little paint sets.
Face wipes. I know, not the best to use but honestly it's just so much easier sometimes. Plus these are plant based so I don't feel so bad about using them. Plus they're just handy, especially as I spend weekends going to my boyfriend's place. It's just easy to bring with me. This is my favourite brand of them and the ones I always buy.
You can tell when you're nearing thirty because you find yourself buying nurofen all the time. For those random back aches or headaches. It's just handy to have on hand.
Finally, I bought some lempsip but I will only drink blackcurrant flavour as I hate the taste of warm lemon. It's that time of year where colds and flus are going around so it's handy to have in the house for those moments. I find a lempsip is always relieving.

Anyway, that was my very random haul. I was not kidding with you when I say it was random but they're all things I'm going to make use of so it was a good haul. Let me know in the comments what's a random thing you've recently bought. I'd love to hear it.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and I'll be back again soon with another post.

See you then.
