Winter Pampering

One of the things I love is having a pampering session, especially when it's winter and it's raining outside. It's nice to take some time for myself to do a few little things which I consider pampering. Now it's not extravagant or fancy because with pampering, you don't necessarily have to go all out with it. If it's what makes you happy and relaxed then go for it. It's about doing little things that bring a little self care into your life so let's get started.
Any good pampering starts with putting my hair up and wearing a fluffy head band. I recently got this headband from Primark specifically for moments like this when I fancy pampering. To start off any pampering session, I like to get rid of any bits off my face like makeup and just make sure my face is fresh. I use these Superdrug biodegradable wipes to do so.
I went to Lush a couple of weeks ago and treated myself to one of their gift wrapped boxes which contained a bath bomb and a bubble bar. I decided to be very festive and get the Snow Fairy one which I don't think I've ever had before.
The bubble bar definitely made lots of bubbles and made the water pink too. I didn't use all of it so I put it in a little plastic cup to use another time.
I think with the bubble bar, you could use it on its own but I decided to be extra by using the bath bomb too which made a colourful bath as you can see below.
It ended up being this pinky purply sparkly colour in the end which is always fun. I got to say, if you ever buy me a present then get me a bath bomb because they just bring me little joys in life. I can't even remember the last time I had a bath without a bath bomb. I do love the bath bombs from Primark because they're so cheap but also good quality.
Of course, you can't have pampering without a face mask. I got this one from Superdrug and it was straightforward to put on. It's a little messy but putting on a face mask is not messy. It felt really nice and I spent fifteen minutes just letting it set while relaxing in the bath.
After the face mask, it's time to wash and condition my hair. I use these Elvive ones as I have long hair and want to avoid split ends.
Finally I use the Radox shower gel because it's always my go to for a shower gel and these big ones last ages. Plus it smells pretty good.

There we have it, that was my pamper session. I know it was not much but I felt very relaxed and refreshed afterwards which is the point of pampering. Let me know what you like to do when you want a pamper session in the comments below. I'd love to hear about it.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and I'll be back tomorrow with another post.

See you then.
