Morning Routine

Who doesn't love a good old fashioned routine post and I thought I'd share with you a typical morning routine of what I do in the morning to get ready for work.

Let's get started.
My morning starts like everyone else's morning. In bed after having been woken up by my alarm. I wake up at 7am everyday which gives me a whole hour to get ready for work.
The first place I go to as soon as I get up is to the bathroom where I go and do my business plus brush my teeth afterwards because I don't want a smelly breath.
Next, I go down to the kitchen to make my usual cup of coffee. I cannot function in the morning without a cup of coffee.
Once I make my coffee, I take it upstairs and start getting ready.
I make my bed as it makes me feel so much more productive when it's made and I can't stand a messy bed. Especially when I'm getting ready because it's too distracting.
I will put on Eastenders in the morning because iPlayer releases the day's episode at 6am in the morning for some reason but I'm not complaining as I enjoy watching it in the morning.
Next, I will get my mirror and also set up my ring light which allows me to see my face in the mirror while I'm getting ready and it's a cheaper version of a light up mirror.
The first thing I do when I get ready is put on my Tesco Cleansing Micellar Water to clean my face and it just feels so nice on my skin. I love using micellar water and that is pretty much my skincare.
I will then do my makeup which is often just a natural look as I like to keep it professional. I will have an updated makeup routine post coming up this week so stay tuned for that.
After I do my makeup, it's time to put my uniform on as I have to wear a uniform for work.
Finally, I will get my work bag ready before heading for a day at work.

There we have it. That is a typical morning routine for a work day. Let me know what the most important part of your morning routine is in the comments below. For me, it's definitely coffee.

Thank you for taking the time to read my blog and I'll be back tomorrow with another post for you.

See you then.
