Belfast
Last week we travelled to Belfast. I thought I’d share a little photo journal of my trip and everything I did.
Let’s get started.
Started off with an early morning drive to Cardiff
Arriving at the airport
Breakfast with a tasty avocado and eggs, sadly the eggs weren’t runny but it was still tasty.
Getting on the plane, this is probably the smallest plane I’ve travelled in and it had propellers too.
Flying over the Irish Sea
Had Frankie and Benny’s and was surprised they still had one open.
Went for a walk around the city centre
The view of our room
The main event of our trip was the Titanic museum. It was honestly interesting and at one point there was a little ride through the shipyard which was unexpected but pretty cool. It was interesting to walk around and learn the history of it all from start to finish. Definitely worth going to see especially towards the end, you really do feel the impact of the tragedy. Here are a few photos I took.
Afterwards, we decided to go on a tour bus which I highly recommend always doing because you get to see so much. It was also interesting to learn about the different parts of Belfast and the history. Definitely an interesting tour. Here are a few snapshots of what I took.
We also had to shop in Primark while we were there because any excuse for Primark shopping and I’ll take it.
We also did a little tour of city hall which was not free as the tour guide said but you have to pay a little £4 fee to view the exhibition on the ground floor.
We also had some really tasty food in The Kitchen Bar.
I had this Chinese curry and rice which was so tasty.
Finally it was time to go home as we were in Belfast for three nights but technically had two full days. I would have liked to have done more but I had a really good time either way.
There we have it, that is my trip to Belfast. Let me know if you’ve ever been and what did you do? I would love to hear it.
Thank you for taking the time to view my blog and I’ll be back soon with another post.
See you then.
