February Favourites

As it's the last day of February, I thought I'd share all the things I've been loving this February.

So let's get started!

Beauty:

I Heart Revolution Bronze and Glow
I have been in search of a good contour palette for a while. As my favourite Revolution Renaissance Glow palette was discontinued. I was looking for a contour that suited my fair skin and didn't look orange or muddy. Then I came across this I Heart Revolution palette and I swear it's so similar to the Renaissance Glow palette. It doesn't look muddy or orange. Plus it is buildable so you can do a simple contour or a dramatic contour. I love it. Also it smells like chocolate so another reason to love it.

Film/TV:

Hell's Kitchen (U.S.)
Recently I have been binge watching series of Hell's Kitchen. It's just kind of fun to watch Gordon Ramsay scream and swear at Chefs. I don't know what it is about it but I just can't stop watching it and it's something I have been watching a lot this February.

Cats (2019)
Now this movie has received a lot of hate and made me a little unsure about going to see it. I also loved the original film and noticed a few changes the new one made in the trailer so I was worried it wasn't going to be as good as the original. Especially the fact there was a lot of talking in the new one and there was only singing in the original. I was pleasantly surprised though when I did go and see it. Yes there was a couple of weird parts but that is the case with most musicals. However, I absolutely loved it. My favourite parts was James Corden's Bustopher Jones, the Jellicle Ball, Victoria's song Beautiful Ghosts and Mr Mistoffelees. I also thought the casting was on point and thought they did a good job. Basically I believe this movie is something that needs to be watched before judged and don't always listen to the critics. I loved it and even my mum who had never watched Cats before enjoyed it too.

Eastenders
I don't always watch Eastenders. I've kind of gone back and forth plus watched the occasional dramatic episodes. Although I watched Eastenders while I was at my dad's house in the New Year because I was intrigued by Linda's alcoholic episode. I also heard about the 35th Anniversary which happened this February which sounded pretty exciting. Basically I spent most of February binge watching all the episodes from New Years which I got me up to speed with the episodes before the week of the 35th anniversary week. Now I just can't stop watching it so yeah I've been enjoying Eastenders this February.

Miranda
I've seen most of the episodes of Miranda before but I never actually watched all the way through and seen the show's finale so I never knew what actually happened. I decided to just binge watch the series as it was on iPlayer and it's not a long series so it didn't take very long. It's just so funny and so relatable. It's something I've been loving this month.

Cleaning:

Method Anti-Bac All Purpose Cleaner Wild Rhubarb
I think a YouTuber once mentioned this product and it kind of just stuck in the back of my mind. Then I decided to buy it because I wanted to dust and clean my room one day. I am so happy I bought this product because the smell is honestly so amazing. Once you've done your cleaning, it leaves this beautiful smell behind and I love it. I just use it with a microfiber cloth and it works like magic for dusting and just wiping down surfaces. Would recommend using it over anti-bacterial wipes. I love it so much, I keep it in my bedroom under my desk.

Anyway, that's all the things I've been loving this February. Let me know what you've been loving this February.

I'll be back again soon with another post.

See you then.
