Night Before

Twas the night before the big day and everyone was excited for the festive day.

Oh Christmas Eve, how quickly you've come this year. Honestly, I'm quite shocked this day has arrived because it feels like yesterday I was opening the first door to my advent calendar and now I'm opening the last door. Tell me when did they stop giving out chocolate on Christmas Day or even save the biggest piece of chocolate for Christmas Eve. No such luck this year. I remember one year when I was a teenager that my advent calendar went on to New Year's Eve. That was a great advent calendar. I sometimes wonder if I'll ever stop buying advent calendars for myself and honestly I can't ever imagine not having an advent calendar every year. It's a piece of chocolate everyday for 24 days. It's the most exciting thing in my life which really says a lot. Either way it's the last day of my advent calendar and I won't be having an advent calendar again until next year.

Currently as you're reading this, I'm on my way to Manchester to spend Christmas there with my family. I'm very excited about it as it's something different to my normal Christmas and honestly it's quite nice to switch it up every once in a while.

Anyway, I hope you have a lovely Christmas Eve and be sure to relax before the big day. Curl up on the sofa and watch a Christmas movie while drinking hot chocolate. That's the perfect kind of Christmas Eve.

Thank you for reading my blog and I'll be back again tomorrow with a festive message.

See you then.
