Winter Skincare

I wish I was someone who had a daily skincare routine with lots of products but honestly, I don't. It doesn't stop me from using a few products from time to time so here is my winter skincare.
The most consistent thing I use on a daily basis is my micellar water and sadly I don't have a fancy one. Just this one from Tesco which I've been using for a while. It feels nice on my skin because it's for sensitive skin which is what I have. I use it mainly in the mornings to cleanse my face but sometimes I'll use it to wipe my makeup off as well. It's just something I've had a habit of using for a while and I like it.
When I went on holiday back in October, I treated myself to a Clinique Moisture Surge Intense moisturiser and I honestly love it. It's so moisturising on the skin. I don't use it often but when I do it feels so soft and smooth on my skin. Plus I feel like it makes my skin moisturised for hours which is perfect for the winter time where your skin gets a bit more dryer than normal. It's a really nice moisturiser and definitely worth it.
Finally I treated myself to the Clinique take the day off cleansing balm and this is definitely something different to what I normally use but I love it. I use it every now and then if I want to do a full cleanse in the evening. I use this and it works wonders. It removes makeup but also feels smooth against the skin that I feel like it is working its magic. Plus because it's a balm it feels like it will last a long time which definitely makes it worthwhile. I've been really enjoying using this every now and then as a treat to really amplify my skincare routine.

There we have it. That's my Winter skincare routine. I know it was only three products but it's something that works for me. Everyone is different at the end of the day and if something works for them then that should be enough. Let me know what your winter skincare essential is in the comments below, I would love to hear it.

Thank you for reading my blog and I'll be back tomorrow with another post for you.

See you then.
