400 Blog Posts


As I was blogging everyday in December, I came to notice that I was getting closer and closer to 400 posts. Now that is a lot of posts. I suppose it makes sense as I've been blogging for five years now to have so many posts.

Although when you're blogging you don't really think about the numbers all that much. You just write and make a post then publish it for the world to see. You don't really think about how many posts you've published until you look at the number of all your published posts. It does get confusing how many posts I've made because I also have 47 draft posts as well so the number always looks bigger than what it actually is.

However, I know that this post is the 400th post and that makes me very happy because I know I've created every single one of those posts. Some of the posts are better than others but that's okay. I know I've not created the most picture perfect posts but I'm happy with how far I've come and how much I've improved since my first post back in 2014. If you look back to some of those posts in 2014 you'll see a difference to the ones I've made this year. It just goes to show that you may not be the most professional blog but you will improve with time. I'm not saying that my posts are the best right now as I know I can always make them better and I'm not a full time professional blogger. I just write when I feel like it which I'm happy about because it means there's less pressure on me.

Although I absolute love blogging and writing down all my thoughts and feelings. I feel like this is my own online personal journal that anyone can read. I also like to think that someone has read what I've written and it made them happy or they took on board some advice I've given and used it. I don't know if that's true or not but I just like to hope.

Anyway, I don't really know what else to say for this 400th post. I hope to make another post in a few years time that's my 800th post and we can see how far I've come since then. Who knows what will happen.

Planning for the future is probably one of the most scariest things. Especially when you have an end goal but have no idea how to achieve that goal. 30 Things To Do Before I'm 30

I thought I would do one of those posts where I talk about things I want to do in the future and why not do a 30 things I want do before I'm 30 so I have about nine years to achieve these thirty goals for myself. It's also something I could look back on when I am thirty years old to see if I actually have achieved any of these things. Hopefully I will but we'll have to wait and see in nine years time. 1. Get my degree Now this is probably an obvious one as I'm in my third year of university but honestly after two years of doing university it would be nice if next year I could have a degree. Chapter Two

The end of the longest month of the year to enter the shortest month of the year, except it's a leap year so instead of twenty eight days, we have twenty nine days. How exciting.  I've had an interesting first month of the year. I booked a once in a lifetime trip to Las Vegas and I'm also planning on booking a holiday to Ireland which is very exciting as I've never been to Ireland before. I think this year is going to be full of adventures so I'm looking forward to what this year will bring. It's getting me motivated to start living a healthier lifestyle though. Eating less and moving more.  I'm also still saving up on top of all the holidays, I hope to buy a car this year. I'm not sure what I'm planning on doing this February.
