Festive Reads

As you know from previous posts that I am a bit of a bookworm. Although I have been a little slow at reading this year. I have read 20 books this year though which was my goal that I tracked on Goodreads so I'm happy about that. I thought I'd share four books with you today. One of which I've read, one I'm currently reading, one I'm about to start and one I want to read.

So here's my list of festive reads:

The first book is Christmas Shopaholic. I finished it the other day and absolutely loved it. I've loved the shopaholic series and this was a brilliant idea for the character Becky, who is a shopaholic, at Christmas time. It's a wonderful romantic festive comedy and worth a read if you've read the shopaholic series. I absolutely love Sophie Kinsella's books and her shopaholic series is a really great and fun read. I would highly recommend it for this time of year.

A book series which I'm currently listening to on Audible is Harry Potter. I absolutely love listening to this series on the go because I can listen to it on my way to work. I just love the way Stephen Fry reads it and I absolutely love rereading the series. I find any Harry Potter book is great for the festive time so if it has been a while then why not start rereading the Harry Potter series or listening to the audiobooks like I am. You can listen to it anytime anywhere. So give it a go.

The next book which I have just started to read is The Life-Changing Magic of Not Giving a F*** by Sarah Knight. I also have her other book Get Your S*** Together as well as when I bought this it came in a bundle. I've been meaning to read this for a while because I have a tendency to care too much about what people think and also take things to heart. I kind of want to learn how to do the opposite really so I'm looking forward to reading this and learning something new.

Another book I want to read is My True Love To Gave Me which is a book filled with twelve winter romance stories by twelve authors. I thought it would be a cute read as it's Christmas related stories and it's also twelve short stories so it shouldn't take too long to read this. As someone who loves romance stories and Christmas, I thought this would be the perfect read.

Anyway, that's my list of festive reads. I hope you enjoyed this and found a good book recommendation for this time of year.

I'll be back again tomorrow with another Blogmas post.

See you then.
