Enjoying The Little Things

Life is still a little confusing. We don't know what we're meant to do right or wrong. Rules are all over the place and if you live in a rural town then tourists are everywhere. Which is okay but it can make social distancing a little bit more difficult. The other day, I took a trip to town in the morning with my mum who had to take her car in for service and had an eye appointment. I decided I'd come with her to keep her company plus get out of the house for a bit. It was quite nice because when she went for her eye appointment, I did a bit of shopping before walking up to my local castle. There were a few people there when I got there but I managed to find a free bench which was out of the way but also had a nice view.
It felt nice because it was a sunny day, I remembered to bring my hat with me as I have a very sensitive head that doesn't like the sun. So I just sat there enjoying the view of the sea and reading my book.
It just made me realise that it's not the big things you do in life that matter but also the little things. The world has been a little crazy these past few months but you can still enjoy the little things like reading a book on a bench on a nice day. I'm very tempted to do it again and bring my own coffee or something. I got some reading done but also had a relaxing time.

Sometimes you need to find those places where it's not too busy so you can just relax and have a good time.

My question of the day for you is what little things do enjoy doing that brighten your day? I would love to hear all about it.

Thank you for reading my blog and I'll be back again soon with another post for you.

See you then.
