What's In My Bag 2020

In today's post, I thought I'd share with you guys an old school post but a post I like doing and I also like reading and watching other people's videos on this too. As you can tell from the title it's a what's in my bag post. I haven't done one of these since December and times are very different from then as we are in a global pandemic so I have a couple of different things in my bag to share with you guys.

Let's get started.

The current bag I love using on a daily basis is my Hogwarts mini backpack. I just love it because it shows off my love for Harry Potter but it's also very handy for me because I like to have free hands when I'm out and about so it doesn't get in my way when I'm out doing my essential shopping. I got this bag from Primark ages ago and it just has a little zipped pocket on the front plus a main compartment with a mini zipped pocket on the inside too.
In the little pocket, I just have three pens in there because I don't like to keep valuables inside the outside pocket and plus I like to always have a pen on me because you never know when you're gonna need a pen.
Now for the main compartment of my bag which looks a bit of a mess as I usually just throw everything in there with no real organisation.
In the little zipped pocket on the inside of the bag, I just keep my sanitary products in there because they're discrete and at least I'm prepared for whenever it's my time of the month. I think every one of my bags in the little zipped pocket, I keep my sanitary products but I'd rather be prepared than not prepared.
The first thing I pulled out of my bag is my phone which is an iPhone 6s. I usually take my phone everywhere with me so this needs no real explanation.
I also like to have headphones whenever I go out so I can listen to my audiobook or music and yes they're usually this tangled in my bag.
Next is an important addition to my bag and that is my face mask. I got this one from Home Bargains and it's a reusable one which I can wash in the washing machine. It does the job of covering my mouth and nose. Plus it's comfortable to wear. Definitely an important thing to have on you especially during these times.
I also have a neck gaiter in my bag because it still covers your face and if I was worried the face mask wasn't doing the job I can just put on the neck gaiter over my mask and I'll feel protected, plus help stop the spread too. If you don't have any kind of face covering or mask then I would highly suggest you get one because this pandemic is not going to go away unless we all do our bit to stop the spread.
Another essential in my bag is my purse. This is just a Hogwarts one from Primark and it just keeps my money in it.
This next thing is a bit random but handy for me because it's a card holder and I just keep all my shop loyalty cards in here so that they're not filling up my purse. I'm not sure where this is from but I'm sure you can find plenty of card holders online.
As it's summer, I gotta have my sunglasses in my bag. I like to have a case with them because if I don't have a case then my glasses will break. I'm not sure where I got these glasses from but I really like them and they do the job for me.
I have hay fever so tissues are important to me, plus I always regret not having tissues in my bag so I got these ones from Home Bargains as they look really cute.
This is another important essential for your bag which is hand sanitiser. This one is a peach one from Home Bargains and it has 70% of alcohol in it which is a good amount to sanitise your hand plus it smells of peaches. It does remind me of peach schnapps though every time I use it. Definitely have hand sanitiser on you, especially now and it must have at least over 60% of alcohol in it to be effective.
I like to have a physical pedometer on me because I like counting my steps and while I do have an app on my phone, I don't always have my phone on me but with this I can put it around my neck and wonder around the house with me so I find it to me more accurate at counting my steps for the day. I just got this cheap one from Amazon.
Next I have this reusable shopping bag which I always have on me because of the whole bag charge plus it's so much better for the environment than plastic bags so that makes me feel good.
Finally I have this little cosmetic bag by Zoella which I think was given to me for Christmas one year. I had a similar one which I had for years but that eventually wore out so I decided to use this one instead. I just keep some essentials in here which are handy to have in my bag.
The first thing is my compact brush and mirror from Superdrug. I absolutely love this because it's handy if I need to brush my hair or check my face while I'm out and about.
I also have a scrunchie and hair bands in here just in case I need to tie my hair up.
I like to have Vaseline on me because my lips can get dry and this has SPF 15 in it so it also protects my lips from the sun.
Another thing I have is a travelo which I keep my perfume in just in case I need to smell nice when I'm out and about.
Finally, I have lipstick in here from when I went out with my best friend the other day. It's the Rimmel London Moisture Renew Lipstick in Vintage Pink. I really love this lipstick and it's also very moisturising too.
So that's everything in my bag. I hope you enjoyed this post and my question of the day for you is what's your most essential thing in your bag? I would love to hear it.

Thank you for reading my blog and I'll be back again soon with another post.

See you then.
