What's In My Bag?

This may be an old school post but I can't help but love what's in my bag posts. Mainly because I'm nosy but sometimes people have things in their bags that give me ideas that I should have in my bag. This however, will probably be the most realistic what's in my bag post that I've ever done on this blog. I didn't even prepare it, I just took everything out one by one and captured it all. Let's dive in shall we and see what's in my bag.

This is my bag which I got from Amazon. It's the Miss Lulu Leather Casual Travel Top Handle Crossbody Messenger Bag Medium Tote in Pink and I absolutely love it. I just wanted a nice looking everyday bag but I wanted one that I would use everyday. This bag is so nice because it's not a huge bag but it fits everything I need on a daily basis. I love the fact it's a crossbody bag but the little handle on top just makes it easier to pick it up and hold it in my hand. Plus it has a wide bottom so it always stands up everytime I put it down which makes life easier because normal I just dump my bag in a heap on the floor so it's nice I know it's not going to fall over and have everything tumble out of it.It has a two compartments inside and a zip pocket in the middle. The zips on the outside are for decoration but I think it's cute and everything is organised in there. Although the deeper I dove into the bag, everything became more disorganised. Either way I'm happy with this bag and would highly recommend it.

Let's delve in deeper.

The first thing I pulled out was my sunglasses case. I believe at the time my sunglasses weren't in the case so that's why you can't see them and that the case looks very flat. I can't tell you where I got this case because I've had it for so long but it has served its purpose very well. I just don't like having a hard chunky case as that takes too much space. This one has worked very well and protected all my sunglasses. Sadly I didn't have my sunglasses in them at the time.

My purse is one I've had for a long time. I believe it's from Primark. It's just where I keep the usual things like my cards and money. Serves its purpose very well and I've not much else to say on it. 

My keys. These are my keys. I just keep them on a lanyard because I'm forever losing things and they're just easy to find. The lanyard is actually from one of those rock dummies you find in most beach town shops around the UK that sells rock. It serves its purpose and I also have a bottle opener from dominoes from uni days but you never know when you're going to need a bottle opener.

A pen. You never know when you're going to need a pen. This looks fancy but I think it was from Home Bargains. It does the job.

A scrunchie. Always super handy to have because sometimes when you're out and you just want to put your hair up out of your face. A scrunchie is handy to have in your bag.

This is the start of the rubbish section. This is an empty tissue packet. Don't know why I left it in my bag. Probably because I finished the packet and there was no bin around so I just left it in my bag. At least after this, I was able to get rid of all the rubbish from my bag. That was the only one unfortunately.

Receipts and bus tickets. Again more rubbish. Although this has definitely aged because these were from when I had a boyfriend. One was for a restaurant we went to on a date night. Oops. Yet it is normal to find receipts and bus tickets in my bag. 

Okay, my only explanation was I really fancied some chocolate and I love ferrero rocher so I got this three pack and obviously ate two, leaving one lonesome one which I obviously ate after taking the photo. Yet this is another example of rubbish being left in my bag.

I don't even have an excuse for a used tissue but it's just one of those things where a bin is nowhere nearby so you just put it in the bottom of your bag only to forget all about it until you make a what's in my bag post. Oops.

A bracelet. This is random but I think I was wearing some jewellery one day and decided to take it off. This bracelet I've had for the longest time. I think it was from Menorca when I went on holiday and it's funny because the E is actually backwards. Yet this has lasted me a long time because it's stainless steel and definitely one of my favourite bracelets.

More jewellery. One ring is from M&S and the other is from Primark I believe. Again I don't know why I left them in my bag but here we are.

Birth control. Stay safe everyone. I'm sensing this bag was photographed around the time I went to visit my ex boyfriend so probably why there's random jewellery and birth control in my bag. Oh well.

No, your eyes are not deceiving you. That is another scrunchie in my bag. Just in case.

More rubbish haha.

Jakeman throat lozenges. Honestly the best ones if you have a sore throat. 

Finally we have a tampon and pad. Just in case,

There we have it, that's everything that's in my bag. As you can tell, this was a very realistic what's in my bag as it contained a lot of rubbish and just random bits.
